Jumping in to the thread to say that when Melanie realised Huge was missing in today's ep was the worst 3 seconds of acting I've ever seen. Can't stand most of the relationships atm either; Toadie/Mel, Levi/Bea, Ned/Sheila, Chloe/Nic, Mackenzie/Hendrix. None of them work at all.

It was a shit shot choice too that close up. It felt like a throw back though to shitter acting times 😂

IRL she’s 7 years younger than Stefan Dennis. She 56. Irl Toadie is 41 I think but I think he’s late 30s on the show.

Think in real life there's a fifteen year age gap.

It's not the age gap though, it's just an odd pairing for the writers to put together. I think they just needed a storyline for Mel because the actor was willing to return for a bit so they shoehorned a thing with Toadie in.

I was thinking about the age gap because someone (in the coffee shop? can't remember) was talking about her being a cougar.

the other day Therese said something about the age gap between her and Paul. wonder how big that is.

ah here it says she was born in 1975
and some where else said Paul was born in 1963.
melanie was born in 1965
and Toadie 1979

Toadie confirmed in today's episode that Melanie is in her 50s

Given Toadie is supposed to be in his 40s (based on the 79 birth date) I guess the gap isn't too weird... However It doesn't work, I just find it odd.

Not sure I can watch it, my eldest Karl got lost in 5he zoo today. Teacher took him to the loo and didn't come back with him!!!! No triggering TV 🤣

Yeah the zoo people stood and talked to him so he was stood with them when teacher found him and didn't get teary until he saw me. But my God that fear. I've never had him lost before

I think Bea spun “decided to sing at a vineyard and they tipped her with bottles of wine” from what actually happened when she decided to sing they either tipped a bottle of wine over her or threw empty bottles at her.
