Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

Oh no, Ian is one of my all-time favourite pros! I wonder if he genuinely wanted to leave or if, with Zoe leaving, the producers saw it as a chance to have an (unnecessary) revamp of the show? It's hardly as if one programme a week is going to take up a lot of his time.

I think Rylan is perfect for ITT, but if they need another presenter then I thought Clara Amfo come across really well last year and she's a genuine superfan of the show.

I think Oti may have said that this is going to be her last year, and she's my current favourite pro. I hate it when there's too much change and it's never the changes that you want.

Clara would have made a good choice but the new Radio 1 schedule means she'll be on air 6-8pm on her new slot - is ITT filmed live?

I wouldn't be surprised if Joe Wicks signed up for it, I'd bet my money on him definitely being approached for it at the very least.

I'd love Dr Xand Van Tulleken to be on it, but not sure if he'd be ok with his health problems after having Covid.

I don't mind Rylan - my worry is that we mat get Jo Clifton ? - don't mind her as a guest choreographer but not as full presenter.

I saw it on their Instagram accounts earlier this evening.

I wouldn't want Jo Clifton, but I wouldn't mind Kevin (I hate myself for even suggesting it), I'm hoping Rylan will go full time for it and maybe Claudia will do a Friday..

All the pros are staying aren't they? I think that's been confirmed. I was surprised that Oti didn't announce she was leaving but assume she'll stick it out this year at least until things are a bit more back to normal.

Oh god, that's a thought. Ever since covid scuppered his post-Strictly plans, Kevin bleedin' Clifton has been putting out feelers for some kind of return to the show. I would not be happy if they replaced lovely Ian with bloody Kev. I like loads of the ex-pros. Erin's always good value on ITT, so maybe her or someone like Natalie or Vincent. (We can't have lovely Tristan now that he's morphed into Australia's answer to Richard Madeley.)

Which of the Strictly alumni do you think is most likely to rock up on The Masked Dancer? I'm going for Debbie McGee for the celebs and Brendan, Kevin or James for the pros. I know Oti is a judge but I'm not sure if the BBC wouldn't frown upon current pros actually competing. I'm guessing the whole thing has already been recorded.
