Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

Bruno is my favourite judge so I hope this isn't permanent. I preferred Anton to both Shirley and Motsi on the panel last year, mainly because he didn't shout and whoop.

I've really liked some of Anton's partnerships on the show, and though people joke about celebs not wanting to be stuck with him, I bet there are a few people who do Strictly for a hoot and a bit of money who'd rather be partnered with Anton than someone who's going to try to turn them into Alicia Markova.

Much prefer Anton as a judge, rather than watching him mess up every Latin dance like clockwork. But I guess that means Graziano will be given a partner. I still can't forgive him for what he did to Vick Hope.

is it too early to be getting excited about Strictly?

I don’t mind Bruno too much, but makes sense not to have him this year. Pretending that he was live on Sunday having just watched the show was a stretch too far.

I suppose all the more senior ladies of showbiz will be more keen to sign up now they’ll be getting a younger model😂

I liked Anton as a judge last year, and his dancing was past its best so very pleased by this.

I hope it's not a one if this year and Bruno is gone for good. I'm fed up with the perving over the male dancers and celebs that he and Shirley do.

I think so too but maybe just doesn't want to admit / announce it yet.

I'm pleased for Anton, like PP said, his dancing was getting past its best, and I think he knew this. He's got two young twins now as well so maybe that's meant he struggles to commit to training as much as some of the other dancers putting in 10+ hours a day.

I think I'd rather him as a judge than a host, he did seem to give actual constructive feedback last year.

I’m thrilled that Anton will replace Bruno, I hope it’s permanent. I just wish now they will replace Motsi, she drives me nuts.

Really pleased for Anton. I thought he did a great job last year.

Just heard an interview on R4 with Lesley Josephs about her dancing with Anton, everyone's pleased about him getting the judging gig, it' s great!

Really pleased about Anton and Janette! Having seen Graziano live at the London Palladium recently…. Wow, he’s a great dancer… fully committed to every move and expression and a super nice guy… really excited for SCD 2021

Really pleased that Anton is going to be a judge but I wish he was replacing Motsi. Her inane comments yelled at full volume annoy me so much.

@MareofBeasttown (EXCELLENT name btw!), what did Graziano do to Vick?? I remember feeling that she was done dirty but I thought it was more the fact of her getting a Dev - one iffy dance, ends up in the bottom two, and out. Both done dirty by SCD.

@AngryMuppet I did feel his choreography back then was all about showcasing himself, and he failed to teach her the basics. However, he was new, so I guess he may have learnt since then and should be given another chance.

Is anyone else starting to get worried about Rylan? I knew he pulled out of Eurovision due to being under the weather, and since Gogglebox and think he's been MIA from his radio show for 7 weeks now?

Hoping he'll be back to present ITT, I really like him as a presenter so hoping all is well with him.

I was thinking about Rylan yesterday. There's been no news about him at all since he stepped back from Eurovision. It's very strange that there is no news at all.
