So another itv drama. I liked too close , the drowning one and few others

On every night this week

When primary school teacher Gemma goes missing in Manchester , surveillance officers martin and Stella are tasked with observing the prime suspect , Gemma boyfriend Greg

I’m guessing it’s too obvious to be the bf so if she is dead /not found it’s not him

But blondes has known to be wrong 😂

Unfortunately, one of the worst dramas I’ve seen in a long time.

GillBiggeloesHair · 02/05/2021 18:12

It had good potential but the ending was just meh.
Separately, I had never heard of the lead bloke until this week.

Synthesiser · 02/05/2021 18:28

I really liked the first episode and him finding her in the freezer Blush but episodes 2-5 didn't grab me as much.

PyjamaFan · 02/05/2021 18:33

I predicted who the killer was and wondered why they had shoehorned the empty downstairs flat into the plot.

Not very well written or thought out at all.

Onlinedilema · 03/05/2021 05:27

I’ve managed to watch the last episode now. I thought it was ok, the actress playing Zoe was good.
I wonder how long she would have left Gemma in the freezer. Surely she would have had to dispose of the body before the neighbour returned.

alloverthecarpetagain · 03/05/2021 11:34

Did Zoe actually push Gemma down the stairs? Or was it a sort of stumble backwards after a little scuffle? I wasn't watching carefully enough.

mum2jakie · 03/05/2021 13:43

I'd say it was more of a scuffle. Certainly would have been in far less trouble if she'd just phoned the police at that point rather than hiding her body in a freezer!! Probably wouldn't be many dramas on TV if people just did the most sensible things though...

muckypaws · 03/05/2021 16:44

@mum2jakie thank you for the clarification. I agree, if people just stopped hiding bodies there would be very little drama on tv!

WaldenintheWoods · 03/05/2021 17:01

Nooooooooooooo.

Was really invested in Dominic Allburn this & just seen its been deleted from ITV Hub 😞

Anyone know if I can watch Ep 3- 6 anywhere?

WaldenintheWoods · 03/05/2021 17:18

I see there wasn't a an episode 6 & 5 is on YouTube.

But still pissed off. Can see why they've deleted it but gutted for the other cast + crew Sad

LizzieMacQueen · 03/05/2021 18:49

Ending was a bit disappointing though, I can only fathom she didn't call the police because she'd been drinking and didn't want social services involved?!
