So another itv drama. I liked too close , the drowning one and few others

On every night this week

When primary school teacher Gemma goes missing in Manchester , surveillance officers martin and Stella are tasked with observing the prime suspect , Gemma boyfriend Greg

I’m guessing it’s too obvious to be the bf so if she is dead /not found it’s not him

But blondes has known to be wrong 😂

I’m trying to download it to my iPad but it wants me to pay a monthly subscription ?

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/04/2021 21:04

Monthly is for no ads

Watch with ads. That’s the annoying thing with itv hub

purpleme12 · 30/04/2021 21:06

All the catch up ones have ads, apart from iPlayer

excelledyourself · 30/04/2021 21:07

Watching it now

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/04/2021 21:10

No subtitles tho :(

How odd about the ads, I watch it through Sky catch up and there are no ads, I don't pay any extra for this, maybe the ads are just on the app. I come up with Viewpoint and then just carries on missing out the ads

purpleme12 · 30/04/2021 21:15

Oh how strange

purpleme12 · 30/04/2021 21:16

@Blondeshavemorefun

No subtitles tho :(
There's subtitles on mine when I turn them on
Inkanta · 30/04/2021 21:16

I'm watching it now but I'm not really bothered to be honest. This thread is more interesting.

excelledyourself · 30/04/2021 21:21

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/04/2021 21:25

The guy whose plants she is watering

AC12theletterofthelaw · 30/04/2021 21:55

@FLOrenze

The guy whose plants she is watering
That gripping I didn’t see that bit!
Cocolapew · 30/04/2021 21:55

I knew it was her :smug:
The stabbing made me jump Shock
How did they not know Gregg was standing in their living room? He's not exactly small

HectorHalloumi · 30/04/2021 21:57

Made me jump too.

That ending was a bit rubbish Confused

SaltedCaramelIcedLatte · 30/04/2021 21:59

@Cocolapew

I thought the same
Blondeshavemorefun · 30/04/2021 22:06

AC12theletterofthelaw · 30/04/2021 22:06

That could easily have been done in 2-3 episodes max. 5 was far, far too long. Dull and not particularly gripping.

Angelica789 · 30/04/2021 22:07

Can someone explain what happens please? I can’t be arsed faffing about with the hub thing

Rummikub · 30/04/2021 22:09

Yes for me as well please.

Chienloup · 30/04/2021 22:09

I'm shocked by some of the responses on here. It seems internalised misogyny is alive and well - the number of women has now risen to 26, many of whom have used their real names. It takes a whole lot of fighting against the way we as women are socialised to speak out against this kind of behaviour and not being believed is the exact reason why.
If 26 people in your company said that they had personally experienced or witnessed one of your colleagues stealing from them, would you want to keep that person at your work, or would you want them suspended pending an investigation?

Lots of the victim statements are not crimes - they won't be brought to justice through a law court, but they are disgusting, vile behaviour which is morally and ethically despicable. His employees have done the right thing, they do not need to wait until he has been found guilty of any criminal charges. These are not media hearsay - they are the considered and brave statements of 26 brave women, which have come to light thanks to am equally brave investigation by two female journalists.

26 women are not lying. I believe them and stand in solidarity with them and all the others who will no doubt be grappling with whether to speak out or not.

mum2jakie · 30/04/2021 22:09

God that was shit! If she'd just phoned 999 and explained what had happened she would have been in much less trouble! What a non story! So one murder and one accidental death (manslaughter?) involving two completely different women.

Cocolapew · 30/04/2021 22:10

SPOILERS

Gemma saw Zoe spying and comfronted her outside her flat, they had a row and Zoe pushed her down the stairs and hid her body in the freezer in the downstairs flat.
Martain saw blood and followed it and found her.

Kate killed what’s his names first wife. They were trying to pin Gemma on her.

But it was Zoe who killed Gemma but accidentally. They had words when Gemma caught Zoe spying on her. There was a kerfuffle at the top of the stairs, Gemma fell and banged her head off a radiator. Zoe put her in a basement freezer. So she was across the road the whole time. Ina freezer. Dead.
