When primary school teacher Gemma goes missing in Manchester , surveillance officers martin and Stella are tasked with observing the prime suspect , Gemma boyfriend Greg

I’m guessing it’s too obvious to be the bf so if she is dead /not found it’s not him

But blondes has known to be wrong 😂

That’s a bit poor. I suspected her too but would have been better if she’d had a motive for the murder. An accident??

Gemma saw Zoe spying on her and bearded man

Confronted her

Said Tim left her as a drunk

Zoos pushed her downstairs. She fell over banister
And cracked head on radiator

Gemma hid her in the freeze of plant mans basement

Martin went to water plants. Saw pic of plant man and Zoe on wall

I thought she had bumped off plant man

He saw blood and went into basement and found Gemma frozen

Well, that was amusingly awful.

All of their plans were terrible. None of them went to plan - to the extent that somehow neither of the two people in the room or the surveillance team across the street knew Greg was in the room?

And I never saw what Martin liked about Zoe anyway. Alcoholic, criminal damage, spying on her neighbours - yet she "made him believe in his instincts"... What?

Piss poor.

I particularly liked how he sat down to a final tea with Zoe and Caitlyn before he reported the fact he'd found a dead body in the freezer! Very touching

Gives you a lot of confidence in the police force 🤣

We’ve just finished watching it in the itv hub. Stupid decision to remove the last one. It’s not like he’s been convicted in court yet.

Reading the guardian article was shocking. I was just starting to like him and that he was increasing diversity on set. Now I see his arrogance.
As an industry they could do with stopping the nude auditions. Why does that need to happen. It just encourages exploitation. If one of my dd’s wanted to go into this I’d be worried for their welfare.

I assumed it was to get to the job she got in Spain. Was it Marbella or similar? It was under a fake name the police officer said. Just before what’s his name heard they were after Kate over the radio.

So, if you accidentally kill someone and dump them in a neighbour's freezer, and an ex CID surveillance man comes to watch a suspect you know is innocent, the first thing you;d do is show him how to secretly access your building via the empty flat where you kept the frozen body, isn't it? Because that's not just clunky plot engineering at all, is it?

I haven't seen a worse script on TV in years.

Well didn't get to watch the last episode but after reading this thread I guessed the ending. It wasn't exactly Like of Duty was it?

Not the best programme I’ve seen. I think if they’d been watching me I’d have spotted them !

The cosy little 'family' dinner was great fun. Just what people normally do before they're arrested

it was an odd ending. I missed why Kate killed first wife.
I found her confession hard to follow and why did that guy(see can't remember the mens names) stab Martin?

Kate killed Ana because she offered her money to leave Karl but Ana laughed at her. She offered more money and she just kept laughing.
So she smashed her head with a stone.
I assume this was on the beach, so how did no one see and who/how did they get rid of the body.
