A lot of the main characters have been reduced to 'bit part' status since the pandemic onset, haven't they? So unless you are really invested in whoever is centre-stage for a couple of weeks, it's not as interesting as it used to be, for sure.

Totally unconvinced by the SW storyline. Very unconvincing. Shouldn’t have bothered with it, IMO.

Dylan was amazing and it was a really good storyline, with mum not coping at first.

Trans girl storyline felt very artificial. And actor looked older than 15. Where was he getting all the money for clothes, clubbing and drugs?

I think I completely zoned out ... memory has gone !

Trans storyline - unbelievable that Marty, a gay male, would not immediately clock that Jude was male.

Unbelievable that there was no mention of sex-specific considerations for medical treatment.

Unbelievable that anyone wouldn’t twig that Jude was male. It was bloody obvious!

To be fair they were using the IDs to figure out Jude's details to look up records. I don't think they were letting the age guide them on that decision, considering the ID they went with had Jude as 15 and the person in the bed locked 30!!.

I just thought they made an assumption that the fake ID showed which name (and so pronouns) was preferred.

Didn't make much of the fact the friend just dumped Jude did they (as in the writers). For some reason I thought they would!!

Last week we had a 15 year old who looked 25, this week it’s a 16 year old who looks 12.

And then there is Teddy. Who is 22, but is treated like a 12 year old by his mum. Teddy I’d upset cos none of his workmates have been in touch. That’s cos mum has thrown away their gift basket….wait a minute. What’s happened to Teddy’s phone? Does anyone know a young adult who isn’t constantly on their phone, posting updates, chatting etc?

I thought the actress who played Kayley and the actor playing Dane looked so similar they were real life brother and sister - don't think they are but wouldn't be the first time that had been done I don't think

Also, why do people think that they didn't realise Jude was trans? There was a scene where it showed they did!

Yes she was from CTM, in the last episode. Playing 16 year old Carole who had a young baby and was concealing a second pregnancy. I had to stop and Google it as it was driving me mad! The actress is actually 17 so not unusual for her to be cast as a 16 year old

Saw Rash in last night’s episode - for two seconds while they shoe-horned in a crush on the new F1 (who miraculously returned with little explanation of where she’s been) for him - and realised I had completely forgotten he’s in it!

the programme is very weird at the moment, the way characters disappear for huge swathes of time. Won’t miss Matthew though, who was a completely charisma-free zone.

I’m warming to Stevie’s character because at least she provides an interesting tension to her scenes - loved that final exchange with Dylan. Everyone else just seems to womble around in a #bekind kind of way, looking vague and validating everyone else’s shite life choices.
