And will Fenisha find out Connie encouraged him to keep quiet about his diagnosis?

EmeraldShamrock · 18/04/2021 23:12

Oh poor Fenisa.
This week's episode was very deep too they highlighted important issues.
The meche procedure is barbaric.
Jan's DS is awful.

purpleme12 · 19/04/2021 00:01

I felt really bad for Marty's mum

Snozzlemaid · 19/04/2021 00:04

Really liked the way that they highlighted how research into women's health is funded less than men's health.

purpleme12 · 19/04/2021 00:09

It was interesting
I didn't know

EmeraldShamrock · 19/04/2021 00:17

Me too. Incontinence is a huge problem for women more research and funding is needed.
The patient with the disturbing thoughts preforming castration on his penis was a shock.
Interesting week.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 19/04/2021 07:49

I thought it was a much better episode with more going on than some recent ones.

Thanks for the new thread @Blondes

My aunt had a mesh and was luckily able to get it removed before it did too much damage.

They're hideous things.

Thanks for the new thread.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 20/04/2021 20:44

@Blondeshavemorefun it was very graphic but a really good way of explaining the problem with the mesh.

Glad your DAunt managed to get her mesh removed without too much damage @HettySunshine.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/04/2021 22:13

@NewModelArmyMayhem18 graphic but showed the point

Ooh new thread.

Dyan's demo was very good - I mean we all love him anyway but his awareness of the issue with treatment of women just makes him even better.

Warmduscher · 24/04/2021 21:29

I thought Jade was amazing in tonight’s episode. She had me in tears when she was talking about how it reminded her of being in care Sad

ThornAmongstRoses · 24/04/2021 23:13

I agree - very good acting.

I also thought Fenisha was really nice tonight. Normally I can’t stand her but I thought she was really lovely over ethan’s disclosure.

spiderlight · 24/04/2021 23:51

Jade was outstanding tonight. Her comment about being in the rubbish was heartbreaking :(

rainbowthoughts · 24/04/2021 23:55

I agree. Jade was tremendous tonight Grin

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 25/04/2021 09:04

Jade was amazing. I thought the bit where Faith and Dylan were talking was a bit strange though - it just seemed to be more about them than Jade; Dylan seemed almost offhand about what had happened to her.

ThornAmongstRoses · 25/04/2021 09:08

I felt the same onlyliving

When Dylan made the offhand comment about Faith having been the only one there I couldn’t tell if he was trying to blame her for what happened? I.e Faith shouldn’t have left Jade or she should have noticed something was wrong etc??

Dalamalama · 25/04/2021 10:18

Jade has always annoyed me as I've always found her a bit smug. But last night she was amazing! Absolutely heartbreaking watching her.

Lauren15 · 25/04/2021 12:31

That was a really sad episode. Lots of great performances all round, with Jade really excelling herself. I think Dylan was blaming Faith, which is a bit unfair. I wonder if things will get too much for Faith.

HelloShel1 · 25/04/2021 16:49

Oh I didn’t get that impression, I thought Dylan did care about what had happened to Jade. The thought of people at work finding out was really distressing for Jade, the only people who knew where Leon, Faith and Dylan. The way I read it was Dylan knew Jade really needed to talk to someone and he went to Faith because she was the only person in the hospital(other than Dylan) that knew what had happened as she was there with Jade, and because of that Jade might open up to Faith far more than she would with Dylan or someone else.

Dylan can seem quite blunt, and then there was already that tension there between Dylan and Faith anyway - Dylan struggles with social interaction at the best of times. And the conversation changed quite quickly once Faith made that comment about Dylan’s alcoholism.

SleepingStandingUp · 26/04/2021 11:50

Hi, new here.

Did Ethan walk out and leave leave as in leave Fenisha and Grub for good?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/04/2021 13:29

@SleepingStandingUP welcome. I don't think Ethan walked out on Fenisha and the baby for good. I just think he was going to get the reast of his kit. It doesn't seem very likely now that he's come clean and clearly has invested in their family unit emotionally, I wouldn't have thought? Why would he?

I stand to be corrected though.

SleepingStandingUp · 26/04/2021 13:32

I don't know, it was just the way he watched her sobbing and then seemed to walk away and he seemed to have been gone for ages between him saying he was getting his kit and that scene. I do hope not

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/04/2021 13:45

I agree his look was a bit wistful.
