I thought there was the possibility of something between Iain and Faith too - more than anything wouldn't it make it very hard for Iain and Lev to work together?! I know Lev's gay but I would imagine he'd still be overprotective of Faith in that scenario.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 18/05/2021 14:41

I think Ian could run into issues with Dylan too if he were to pursue a relationship with Faith. Actually, I think when he finds out that there is recent history (and unfinished business) between Faith and Dylan, he'll back right off?

SoupDragon · 18/05/2021 15:05

I thought Faith and Dylan had a falling out when he said something... I don't know... harsh or slightly inappropriate about Lev.

No, Dylan didn’t say anything about Lev. They had an argument after Faith told Dylan she wanted Connie to treat her daughter, Natalia recognised Dylan’s voice as the one talking to her mum in the accidental phone call she received from her mum earlier in the day.

I think Dylan felt that Faith didn’t trust him to treat her because she just found out about his alcoholism, Faith was angry that she was with Dylan instead of at home with her kids and then compared Dylan to lev because he didn’t tell her about his alcoholism sooner.

Spidey66 · 19/05/2021 13:31

I thought Dylan told Faith he'd seen Lev snogging a man??? Initially she didn't believe him or was in denial but she did eventually accept that yes Lev was gay.

Ah yes he did last year, then Faith and Dylan were back talking again ect.. then they had that argument a few weeks back.
ThornAmongstRoses · 19/05/2021 21:38

Just caught up and I was also trying to work out of there was some chemistry between Ian and Faith...

Overall I thought the episode was pretty boring, I kept losing interest and focus.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 20/05/2021 07:30

I think because of the social distancing issues the storylines aren't as meaty and are more 'flitty'. And although I really liked the 'relationship retro' for the elderly couple, was it really necessary to do something similar for Rash in the same episode?

Also, they need to fill the Connie void.

ContinuousMonotoneBeep · 20/05/2021 07:38

The bit with Rash was cracking. I mean just find a similar looking actor whose younger. Though I suppose they are limiting set numbers.

SoupDragon · 20/05/2021 07:47

Sometimes they have these "filler" episodes to set stuff up for future storylines. I'm not sure anything much was set up here though. It was very much an episode about nostalgia with the couple and Rash with his running.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2021 19:40

Just seen. Thought boring

Assume Ian vanished to be a policeman in the innocent on itv

Double episode again tomorrow night Grin

ContinuousMonotoneBeep · 30/05/2021 06:27

Just catching up now.

Does the double episode mean we are missing another week soon?

Zzelda · 30/05/2021 08:05

Did we ever discover what Oliver's mystery lurgy was? It looked as if Rash had been struck with inspiration when he said that Rosa's child had had similar symptoms, but I wasn't sure whether I'd missed the conclusion in amongst everything else.

ContinuousMonotoneBeep · 30/05/2021 08:26

No there wasn't. Is Rosa going to be revealed as a sociopath who killed her son and is now killing off Olliie.

Or it's stress caused by Rosa and his dad fighting constantly.

ContinuousMonotoneBeep · 30/05/2021 08:27

Was it me it was there a lot of questionable acting in both episodes?

JustDanceAddict · 30/05/2021 08:28

Eek! I hope the latter!!
Optimist1 · 30/05/2021 09:30

Munchausens by Proxy? I always find that a very disturbing concept, and hope they're not going down that route with Rosa.

But what's the alternative? I can't see her as a sociopath, and had always thought her arguments with David weren't (until last night) aggressive or cold.

I did smile when Rash commandeered the headphones at the height of one of their exchanges, though.

SoupDragon · 30/05/2021 09:37

Haven't they done Munchausen's recently...? Or something similar anyway.

SoupDragon · 30/05/2021 09:38

Numb thumbs is a very odd symptom.

GeorgeandHarold66 · 30/05/2021 09:38

Just came on to see if others thought they were setting up a munchaussens by proxy story line with Rosa? I hope not though, I liked her and David before but they made her really annoying in last night's episode Hmm

NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella · 30/05/2021 22:00

@ContinuousMonotoneBeep

Said at the end it's another double bill next week. Surprised they are putting double bills on when they are reducing the length of episodes!!
SoupDragon · 30/05/2021 22:02

I think the double episodes take into account weeks when it won't be on at all.
