I'm so looking forward to another dark drama.

I think Carrie will give full custody to Mare, after the bath incident 😬

The scene when Mare was with the therapist and went through the day that her son died was heart wrenching.
It felt so close to home and I struggled not to cry.
Her acting is just incredible.

Jumping in on this thread.....I’m thinking that it might actually be Siobhan, Mare’s daughter who shot Erin. Mare’s dad was a cop, so Siobhan could have got hold of the weapon at some point. Siobhan could also have found out that her dad was the father of Erin’s baby

Right here is my vast theory.... mares son either didn't kill himself or he did but it was because of something that he did with Dylan/Erin/erins friend. That's why they are all being super dodgy.

I think the dad of the baby is John not Billy.

I think Richard is dodgy but I always think that about Guy Pearce😂 he mentioned he had a son when he was really young so I think that will come into it.

I also have an irrational unease of the Siobhan character - no idea why .... she’s a bit prissy / perfect? Feel guilty thinking that because really she is just a teenager stuck in a rut ruminating on the unresolved trauma of her brothers suicide whilst the parents are lost in their own grief. Fabulous actor.

However her Dad (Frank) had a DNA which proved he wasn’t the father of Erins baby - unless she had wrongly assumed he was before?

Yes he is dodgy because he told Mare he had never spoken to Erin and then does a 180 to reveal he was providing her with one to one emotional and financial support.

Why would he feel the need to lie about that or even keep it covered up.

Maybe the child isn’t his - but he still had a sexual RS with her and Siobhan knows this? Or even that there were rumours that he had?

The old police gun can’t be a red herring surely?

Got up early and watched it. Turns out I'd guessed what would happen but it was still a great watch
