I'm so looking forward to another dark drama.

Yes Dylan definitely knows it’s not his. There was a scene where his parents were playing with him and he asked them why they were bothering, followed by the disturbing scene where he considered smothering him. Plus it seems like the baby’s future has been discussed if Lori is considering adopting him.

Zabel was the most adorable sweetheart and I shall miss his dorky smile hugely dammit!

I wonder how Mare will deal with the guilt of his death on top of all the other guilt (some fair, some not) that she already carries. Plus what will happen to her career now? already told to stay off the case, she's broken a ton more rules and her partner is dead

The last episode was stunning. Incredibly tense. I like the banter between Mare and her mum. It gives some much needed humour which stops the series from being too bleak and gives the characters more layers. Really enjoying it so far.

Thank you! I did see the scene but I clearly needed it to be more spelled out . And yes at Lori considering adopting the baby. I just wish they had explored more this, revealing the news at Dylan and his reaction to it.

Yes @RedHotChiliChips I know what you mean. There’s a lot of action that happens off camera - like Mare planting the drugs - but in a way I quite like that. Adds to the feeling of depth cos there’s just so much going on! I wonder if Lori will still be keen on the adoption given her husband’s affair??

Yes that’s Drew’s mother - Carrie.

You can kind of see why she wouldn’t want her to have custody of drew....

I was clutching at straws too and hoping in the next episode finding out that Zabel had survived.

Well we can't have two people shot who survive in the same series ;)

A bit yes. But it's not the kind of spoiler like who the killer is. More like who could lead you closer to the killer. Possibly. Could be misdirection.

@PinkSatinMoon Where are you based Pink - I'm in the uk and can't see any earlier showing than 3am on Monday (a wee bit early for me, no matter how great it is!!)

Why can’t he have just shot Zabel in the chest? Then he could have been secretly wearing a protective vest I’m sure that old chestnut had been used many times in uk programmes to give viewers a fright but allows the character to come back! Poor Zabel we loved him!
