The episode has disappeared! It was taken off from last Friday evening due to all the Philip TV coverage, and rescheduled for tonight. Now it’s completely disappeared!
I’ve been so looking forward to it both times. Anyone hazard a guess where it’s gone? I’ve checked schedules for this coming Friday and it’s series finished, compilation episodes from now on.

i was massively looking forwards to seeing the tomliboo on gn but he was very eurgh and gave me the creeps (tomtom) and he was really eurgh and it's put me off going to see tg2 although tg1 was the total anthem of my youth and other stuff like that.

miles teller is a HOOOOT though. had never heard of him before. he could have really pissed on tc's chips and said that he had watched tg2 on the etch a sketch from toy story.

One of the Cruise children lives a normal life in Croydon iirc. I don’t know if they’re still into Scientology though.

Both the children are committed Scientologists. Bella I think lives near one of their centres. Connor has a gf who is also a Scientologist.

So it's a money handshake, its ideology aside!

I used to love Tom. But there is something very odd about him now. I do find it interesting that both NK and KH have stayed very silent on Tom particularly given NK lost her kids and Suri hasn't seen her dad in so long. Connor and Isobel were still quite young when Tom and Nicole split so it must have been devastating for Nicole.

The premise of Scientology is obviously bonkers but I think it's developed a self perpetuating power outside of that. There are lots of rich and powerful people involved who hold access to certainly Hollywood (ie a multi billion dollar industry) and doubtless other power mechanisms too. There was an investigation into the schools they ran here in the UK and there was definitely abuse and brainwashing going on but the former head is now head of a totally separate academy chain.

I think they are often involved with drug addiction recovery and rehabilitation which is worrying as so many people are desperate for help and then may be under a sense of obligation. That would also apply to local social and national health services that don't have the necessary resources or are obliged to privately outsource treatments. Who is offering services and what is their agenda needs to becarefully looked at.

Yes, either they both know that the full force of scientologies top players would demonise them, or, they confessed mundane pecadillos in "auditing".

Well, I just watched it purely as a result of seeing this thread in the Telly Addicts list.

I am astounded at how attractive TC is, he is ageing beautifully. I think he's had "something" done, but I'm not sure what, maybe a face-lift or something. He doesn't seem to have fillers, but something was just a bit different. Good work, whatever it is.
Also, if you watched his mouth when he was talking, it was very Gary Barlow-esque. Same mouth shapes/movements when talking seriously.

As others have said, he takes himself so incredibly seriously. He also clearly adores being the centre of all the attention. He's textbook narcissist - the name dropping; the way he holds court when telling a story, making eye contact with each of them in turn; the way he asks questions of all of them, to make them feel privileged that they're worthy of his time; the way he said congratulations in a patronising way to each of them regarding roles they had won. Graham asked Jennifer and Miles a few questions, but every one referred to what it was like working with Tom. On a normal show, Jennifer would be asked about what it's like being married to Vision himself etc, but they had clearly been booked to discuss Top Gun only, and not to deviate from it.
None of it was done in a lighthearted, off the cuff way, it is exactly as others have said - TC has become a real-life character and probably doesn't even know how to be a person any more.
And when he was joking with Miles, it was very "HAHAHAHA" through slightly gritted teeth, then he actually said "HAHHA I'll crush you, haha" to put him firmly back in his place.
I would not want to cross him.

Brad Pitt didn't get along with him in Interview with a Vampire. He was very polite about it, making out it was a chalk and cheese thing - but it was pretty clear he wasnt much of a fan.

I personally avoid any movies that have TC in them. It's a personal rule!

All 3 of his wives have been very quiet about married life. I’d like to think it’s because they’ve taken the MN high road or, actually, just the decent human road of focussing one your own life and not the twat that’s left behind. They’ve all, in their own way, found happiness while TC is still spouting on about how great he is at doing his own stunts 🤣

Yes. Nicole very happy with two much loved children in a marriage which has lasted longer than the one to Tom. KH with a very close relationship to Suri and a new boyfriend. Penelope Cruz married with a child. (Although they never married). He’s single by all accounts, Vain, self important and estranged from his only natural child.

Yes, two guys were stood looking at a computer screen and not 6ft apart so TC was not wrong. However, he just went ballistic with lots of swearing at them. I would've thought he could have made a point in a better way, that's all ! It was a complete ranty meltdown!
