Ok, I've started a new one in anticipation of Thread 3 filling up tonight, part way through the episode!

I don’t think there’s an obvious agenda @MysteriousAffairAtStyles but there does seem to be a high proportion of BAME characters either killed or bent.

I'm just pondering the fact that Jo's flat has a million bolts on the door but the whole front of it is made of glass.

Actually, he wasn't arrested until Roz set him up after having her arm amputated.

Oh yes, and she ‘arrested’ him in the hallway of their house, I think, which seemed like pretty dubious protocol!

Caught up with the thread since last night. Review the list *@AwkwardArnottDentonFumble* posted (fab username by the way ) along with a pp I think Jo is related to Robert Denmoor who was a balaclava man. Ted would remember vividly someone he shot dead - hence the mother of god comment. Only 7 more sleeps 😂

I think Denmoor too. Especially as the Lakewell audio clip we heard was talking about Balaclava Men (not Man).

So, just reading up on Lisa McQueen. I'd assumed she was in prison. However she was given immunity from prosecution in exchange for information on OCG members. But she deliberately didn't give Ryan away. She was then allowed to mentor school children to stop them being drawn into organised crime. WTF?! Why would they let a senior OCG member anywhere near kids? I think there is plenty of scope for her to come back. Especially as she is linked to Ryan.

So, is Lisa in witness protection too?

You’re right, he’d have shown on the same police database other wise.

So it’s one of the male crims you listed, and it needs to be an older one, as their dna was on file when jo joined, so that rules out Terry and I think it also rules out James lake well.

Liking the Denmoor theory for Jo’s DNA. That would be a great way of returning to The List.

I don’t get why they didn’t pick up the link earlier though after Ted shot him. They’d been supposedly working (unsuccessfully) on The List for a year by then, they should have recognised the name!

Nick Huntley might have DNA on record, wasn't he suspected of being dodgy at one point? Can't remember if ever arrested though.

Although West wouldn’t be the named relative it could theoretically be that they are related too (and thus that West is related to the male nominal), because they made a point of saying coppers’ DNA wasn’t fully analysed on joining until more recently? So neither of them would’ve had the link noticed as they joined too long ago.

Shame we can’t run them through the facial recognition software and get a percentage likelihood :o

I don’t think it is true, as it would be a bit much having two surprise relationships for the same person, but still. Theoretically possible, I think.

No we can't. He wasn't arrested long enough ago. And he'd have struggled to qualify as a solicitor with a criminal past (not impossible, depending on the crime, but I can't see it).
