Anyway... Corrie in 1998.

Just watching Friday's episode. Does Samantha only have one pair of pyjamas and why does she wear a bra underneath? She is so dull.

How awkward did the line dancing knicker factory extras look? 😆

It hurt my brain a bit that they were dancing to The Woolpackers. It’s a weird universe where Corrie is real life, but Emmerdale is still fictional. It must have blown their minds when Judy Mallett turned up in it alive and well and then married Vikram Desai - whose sister is pretending to be his stepmother!

Sam is a pain and not a very good actress.

I missed most of last week and yesterday but, managed to catch today's episodes. I see Samantha is still wearing her pyjamas though, thankfully she added a crash helmet and finally left the street. Natalie's cat is a better actor. I thought Alec played his part in the downfall of Samantha really well ! He's a great character. Love Mike as well. That cheeky grin !

Mike Baldwin is a soap legend. Johnny Briggs played a blinder as the Cockney wide boy in a Northern soap for four decades. He is still outstanding even here in the late '90's.

How did Adam Rickitt last so long? he's so wooden, even in the most dramatic scenes 🙈.

I remember that it was the early days of internet message boards - in the Corrie fan forum he was known as The Plank

From memory, he’s about to start working at the garage as a valet - cue lots of shots of him washing cars topless.

I haven't watched any of this weeks episodes yet. I've got them all recorded.

But I am almost scared to watch them because I'm worried about what happens to Natalie's cat.

Please! Someone tell me that Psycho Samantha didn't harm the cat!

Tell me that Tiger ended up safe and sound in Natalie's arms!

I can't abide cruelty to cats - and can't think how Samantha had that cat in Curly's house for a few days without providing a litter tray and food.
