I don't think it was that unusual to have a colour TV in your bedroom in the 90,s ,I got one for my 16 th birthday in 1989.

I had one in the 80s too - but I suppose for someone in Leanne or Linda’s circumstances, it might have seemed unusual.

Sangals and Hospiccal. I can go to bed happy. I don’t mind Ashley but he’s such a drip, the only time he wasn’t being a drip was when he booted Maxeem out for “our Zoe” and she’s taken him back. Still think Mike is a piece of dirt for how he’s treating Alma but then again Kevin’s also pretty quick to forget his own affair started everything off and set Rosie on the road to ruin.

My kids eat way to much sweets and chocolate but even I was a bit at Rosie getting a jam buttie, chocolate biscuit, and can of pop for school lunch!

I think that Leanne has a point about a settlement in light of supporting Nick financially for 15 months. £5K seems steep though.

He’s got a motorbike, Audrey made it sound like he had penthouse and car! I guess Leanne doesn’t use it for down payment for flat but wastes it all.

The actress that plays Alison was in an episode of Scott and Bailey this week! I'd totally forgotten about this series but I've been really enjoying rewatching - quality stuff - police procedural set in Manchester.

I hate to say it because she seems so nice but I cannot stand the alison character. She’s so drippy and whiny.

Can almost write alisons AIBU I’ve moved in with my new fella and we not had one night to ourselves!

Do like old slow stories, Jacks heart issue for months. Ty moving in gentle comedy, will Leanne say yes, no murders or shoot ups every other episode.

I agree, I love how the stories are all just trickling along together at a normal pace.

It struck me earlier watching Kevin in the cafe with the girls, he lifted an extra chair and set himself in between them. It was a really natural family scene. Modern Corrie just doesn’t even try to do that anymore.

I gave up watching modern Corrie at least a year ago. Classic Corrie is much better!
