I missed a lot of these eps at the time because I was in a house share/working hard and out and about a lot, so I can’t renember how Greg Kelly/Sally plays out, nor what leads to Nick and Leanne’s divorce.

I do feel sorry for all those poor non-speaking extras (supporting artists) who play the factory workers!

The way they have to react (laughing, nodding, shaking their heads, looking shocked/disgusted/delighted etc) and yet are never allowed to say one single word, just makes me cringe! 😖

Yep yep GreenClock, Burn Gorman ! That's how I first recognised him - from the Bleak House adaptation, but he's been in loads of things, most recently The Man in The High Castle.

Both he & Joanne Froggatt have come a fair way since those scenes were filmed.

Me too, it makes them look ridiculous, if they could just say a word or two it would look far more realistic My sisters ex from the 90,s was a wannabe actor, and i have seen him a few times on classic corrie (hes quite distinctive looking) as part of groups and gangs etc gurning away 🤣

The OT Michael would surely be struck off, at least reported to whatever professional body governs OT's. Moving jobs wouldn't be enough to stop him getting into trouble.

I think they must show it again in more detail in later episodes, because I remember it really well. It’s a portrait of the outgoing producer, Brian Park I always wondered if it was a dig by some of the writers, suggesting he ran Corrie like it was some weird cult! Inside Soap magazine also spotted it at the time, and pointed out that Nirab is an anagram of Brian.

Made me laugh other day when the guy from institute said it’s like going back in time when visiting the street. Seriously it’s perfectly normal street where I come from a row of Terraces. Unless he was taking just about the cobbles as opposed to tar mark.

On a slightly more frivolous note, just how many life drawing classes does that college have? Is it a full-time course in drawing Nick’s cock?
