To be fair this is itv3 so any sports are 20y to old!

But I think when one or two of the main channels devote themselves to sports it has a knock on effect to the others.

There was some odd jumpy editing in the Mike/Roy/Hayley scenes. As if they’d cut “inappropriate” language.

They did say before the episodes played that there maybe some offensive language, that reflected the views of some people at the time.

There wasn’t any was there? Mike said Roy where’s your boyfriend or something but no one knows anything yet so they unless chopped out those bits.

Mind you these days mis gender someone is seen as bad as calling someone racial slurs. Maybe that’s what they meant? Would expect much worse for the time.

It's all grubby and yellow, and probably covered in grease.

Same goes for those sockets behind the counter, above the toaster!

It's a greasy spoon cafe, I can imagine it smells of chip fat and people's wet coats 🤣

Hayley and Gail both look clean, roy is a bit greasy. Nowadays Roy would have a personal going through a rough time who would wipe things with a questionable cloth.
Alma and Audrey must notice the grease.

Where did they find the ‘actors’ playing the policemen in recent episodes? That one who kept referring to the blackmail suspect as ‘Chummy’ the other week; the one today who kept going on about the prawns… I half-expected him to say ‘Ello ello ello, what’s all this then?’ Bloody awful!

I missed most of last week, which is a shame. Anne was nasty.
