April is definitely coming back. They've posted about it on Instagram confirming it but not saying more details.

Chicago Med gave a character their actor's real life medical condition - diabetes - as a reason why they were wfh. But I suppose if they'd not mentioned Meredith's asthma at all in the previous 16 series then that wasn't an option

Meredith had a splenectomy in season 9, which would have been a perfect reason to have her work from home, if the writers hadn’t completely neglected to mention it ever again.

Think you'll struggle as think Disney have the rights now so it's been removed from Netflix.

I think it's been suggested that Ellen Pompeo has asthma or another condition which meant she was at a higher risk of Covid so filming was difficult.

Those watching the earlier series, could you let me know when it was that the slowed-down cover versions started being played constantly? It's the one thing that irritates me. One series was really bad for it, and I blame Grey's for the same style of songs appearing in adverts etc 😖

Seasons 1-15 are on Amazon Prime at the moment. But again I guess that depends on whether you already have Prime or not. If not then I suppose you could try a free trial! No idea how long that is, but depending on your determination (and time, of course!), I reckon you could definitely blow through quite a few seasons if it's a month trial! 😁

I have been loyal to Greys since the start but I think this series is just awful. They're all just so worthy and I can't cope with the monologues.

I know they had to deal with COVID but after a year of lockdown, it's depressing to watch when all I really want from my telly is escapism.

I miss Alex too.

I agree it's hard watching and not an escape with it being so relevant but I think it's made me feel more emotional watching it because it is so current. I'm enjoying this season more than I have the last couple.

I feel like I'm being lectured when I watch this latest series - they even show horned a bit in about Amelia and Linc's baby not being cos and so maybe they should try out girls names. It's annoying. I don't mind shows dealing with issues but i want to feel entertained rather than educated in what the writers consider to be important. Hate Catherine Fox and the scene with her and Maggie screaming at each other felt very clunky, like the writers didn't know how to fill the space. I miss old Grey's. Alex is much missed!

Is anyone else not enjoying the beach scenes? I remember hearing spoilers about them and being excited but now I'm a bit worried they're going to fill big chunks of each episode.. I hope not, but then I guess I'd rather that than a station 19 crossover story at least!

I also really miss Alex.

I'm not one for dream sequences, but thought these were quite well done and not too much.

I just don’t really see the point of them. And also, what the hell happened to Patrick Dempsey?! He looks positively gaunt...

I didn't see Jackson and Jo ever happening! Totally took me by surprise.
Definitely better than Maggie/ Jackson pairing.

I'm so bored by the Maggie and new boyfriend storyline. Maybe I missed something in the station 19 crossover episodes, but god, they are dull!

Was nice to see George. I miss early Grey's, with Christina and Burke

I’m so bored by Maggie, full stop. There is nothing they can do to make that character interesting.

I agree about Maggie too, I can't actually think of one interesting storyline she's had. The one about her mother was sad but there's nothing really memorable about the character unfortunately.
