I've been really behind on Grey's but slowly catching up, I've just got to the Jackson episode and I could have sworn Matthew had died!? I was surprised he was alive!

Are you maybe thinking of his wife dying? She died giving birth to their child.

I've been doing another rewatch, I'm on season 14 just now and I forgot how funny the episode is were they all end up stoned from the cookies 😂

I know I've already commented on this but.. Why was Meredith wearing that awful beige cardigan to Maggie's wedding? This was my main takeaway last night.

This!! I finally watched it, and this was my main takeaway from it.

Like others have said, it all felt very rushed at the end. I would have preferred to have seen Amelia say yes, I really love her and Linc together and think at least one couple deserve a happy ever after on the show.

I think they'll be gearing up to pair off Jo and Linc now as they'll bond over baby Luna..

Also, I never thought I'd say this but I hope the next series is the last..

I agree I hope next season is the last. I've always loved greys and enjoyed the last season but it's really not the same any more. I think it's back next month in America? Quite quick compared to the wait for this one

I'm hoping it's the last one as well, I'm just not invested in any of the characters anymore!

Especially after watching it again from the beginning, it's definitely lost it's way.

Before I forget.. was the Ben having cancer (?) storyline covered in Station 19? I presume this is the case since it was quickly breezed over by Bailey..

Yeah I think so and as much as I like Ben, I'm not willing to watch s19 to see what happened.

Yeah it was covered in station 19. I do watch station 19 too but get it's annoying with the crossovers. Although Ben is a station 19 character now I suppose so right it was covered in that.

Jo and Linc together Maggie, don’t really care, I guess just still married to that guy. Amelia, not that fussed Bailey, still happy with Ben Richard, still happy with Catherine I don’t like the relationship between Nico and Schmitt, so they can split up. The other resident in Schmitt’s year (the woman, Helm?), don’t really care. Would be nice for her to find a nice girlfriend so she can stop her Meredith worship. Is dr Parker still there? The transman? I never paid enough attention to that set of interns. I’ve not seen him but also don’t remember him leaving. And I guess we can partner up Meredith with McWidow. He seems nice.

Who did I miss?

Oh Owen and Teddy. Meh.

This is why Meredith annoys me - it's like surgery is so important that she doesn't have any time for such frivolities as putting on a nice dress for her sister's wedding.
And when she was giving her monologue about COVID, she listed her children last! Her colleagues were more important.

I think the awful cardigan was meant to show that she still isn’t feeling properly healthy, but it just looked like she couldn’t be bothered to try.

I got so bored with series that I hadn't even realised I still had 3 episodes to watch 😅
I really dislike almost all the characters; I hate the way the new characters and Jo and Amelia (and probably more) ALL speak with pauses in strange places. It's totally unnatural.

I hope too that Koracic is still going to be around 🤞🏻

None of us are invested in the newer characters. We need more from them so we actually care. Schmitt etc have fairly major storylines at times, but they're so bland/dull/overacting/wet that they don't make any impact at all.
If Shonda would just stop being so OTT in getting political messages to take over, we could care more about the people.

And it doesn't help that some storylines are covered in Station 19 instead. I know I had lost attention, but I wasn't aware of the cancer storyline at all?! Bailey would have been in a mess for a few episodes, surely 😖

I did. Was v excited to see it pop up on the sky home page. But it feels like I've missed something. Who was the man Meredith was with in the hotel? How has she gone from still very frail at Maggie wedding to being back at work and conducting important meetings when Maggie and Winston are only just returning from honeymoon?

@islamann I thought exactly the same was really confused - I googled the bloke that Meredith met and he's from Season 14! How anyone is meant to remember that, he was a transplant patient and they had chemistry, talk about random!!
