Yes, but he has two talents the hair cutting and the plumbing. He should be living in luxury and giving Karen some dosh for looking after Bailey , not sitting about moaning about the money problems. Why is he even living there anyway ? 😠

.. It's all because they ( the writers) want Bernie to be a surrogate mum. She could easily go and buy them some food better than a bent up can of beans even if it's a frozen pizza or sausages and some mash or something that's not too pricy. But no, instead she wants the 10 k when really she isn't the best person to do this at all.
Plus Rainie and Stuart already have baby Abbie to care for and both work, why do they want more children ( and neither are that young and have a troubled past)
Makes me wonder what the writers are on!

She works in the rat catches office whatever it is called. So even in mim wage and saving it not be that long. Do wonder if she will keep it quiet. I mean she could win £10k on a scratch card say and with her body shape and size she could get away with carrying a baby for a long time especially come winter and new jumpers.

I’m glad showing more the poverty story I know the slaters more than anyone are forever calling poverty but their kids have never really gone without. Poor Bailey’s going run away isn’t she.

Well, she working for Suki and co in the call centre in their house! It's probably min wage, but enough to pay for some food apart from beans. Karen won't take any money from her. Which is weird. Plus Sharon should be paying her for always having Albie.

I’d totally forgotten this!! Why on earth would they want another baby at such expense and risk and hassle when they have full custody of Abbie?? It makes no sense.

If Karen isn’t even taking digs off Bernie then Bernie could save almost her entire wage and have £10k in a year or less. Although i still don’t think debt collectors wait that long. She could pay them off weekly/monthly.

I was kidding! Spoilers don't bother me , but we don't on here. There is a spoiler thread but hardly by one goes on that one! It is hard though as the TV guides show loads and the Internet / Facebook etc. minefield ! 😂

Oh sorry I wasn't suggesting Bernie worked there....just using it as an example. £10k for a pregnancy is just over £1k a month....i know Bernie has just left school, but it's still not much for something that's far more than 37.5 hours per week!
