I hate that it looks like the Chantelle storyline is going to be resolved by making it All About Whitney. Who, as usual, everyone is fawning over - telling her how fantastic she is, how X doesn’t deserve her, etc. And she only recently had her own stalker storyline. It’s nauseating, and doesn’t do the Chantelle storyline justice at all IMO.

I agree that the Chantelle story deserved better. I also really hate the way they are portraying Whitney as some kind of dumb waynetta slob type character with the canapés thing in the club 'snails on quinoa' ffs, like the lawyers were so posh they were out of her league (despite booking a fairly grotty eastend nightclub for their black tie dinner)

Well yes, what bloody Chambers in London would have a black tie affair at Ruby's poxy backstreet grot-club? I think the Krays' lawyers went out of business a long time ago.

I'm not sure really : Jack isn't one anymore so maybe he has taken over from him? He showed up over the gold bar and the dead Russian pretty quickly the other day and he is planning on marrying Ben , so could be the way it is going.

The way Callum was just able to turn up in uniform whilst On duty when Vinny called him was hilarious!! Are police officers allowed to have their personal mobiles on them whilst on duty? Even if they are, so Callum gets a call and says to his partner “oh I’m just nipping home for a bit”

Callum was trying to be straight cop but after the great car robbery and Kush he knows he can’t land Ben in it. Shows it is a sliding line from turn blind eye to covering things up. Probable realistic!
