So the pub went from Ian to Shazza back to mick and L, who left as she is an alcoholic , will she start drinking again

Ruby was Preg, had a mc, lied about it to put Stacey in prison, prob as due in real life

I hope martin steps in. Stacey is his ex wife and mother of children

Hope Jean isn’t dying, she didn’t wait to find out the results

Gray and Tina and Chantelle’s murder needs to be sorted now all the abused females must be up in arms 😥

Ben and Callum in with suki,s gang

What else have I missed .?

Obv COVID storylines are up and down. People flying/in pubs/houses etc

Roll on when we can do that 😂😂😂😂

If Grey is lying then that’s bloody stupid, because Whitney would have been told there was no issue when she rang up the passport helpline and explained the situation.

He wasnt lying -its 6 months
RoseBearx · 08/05/2021 10:33

@Atalantea. She’s 11!

lazymum99 · 08/05/2021 10:36

Most countries now require you to have 6 months on your passport. Since Brexit this is also needed for uk citizens to enter EU countries.
I wouldn’t mess with trying to enter Dubai without the correct documents. They throw people in jail very quickly! Also Whitney probably wouldn’t get out of the UK. I think my the airline might have an obligation to check visa/passport before you board or at check in.
Think I might be taking this too seriously Smile

BrutusMcDogface · 08/05/2021 10:41

I was assuming/hoping that the cctv would emerge during the investigations into kush’s death? I’m actually so angry that they killed him, haha! Stupid scriptwriters. Angry

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/05/2021 11:29

And yes the passport thing was silly

She was planning to go away with kush a eeek or so ago

@Standrewsschool

The Bill

The Bill is coming back, but re-named Sun Hill, with original cast members. So I wonder if we see Jack Brennan written out soon, as the actor was originally in The Bill.

I always liked him The Bill, but thought he never quite fitted in Eastenders. He seemed to overact.

@Standrewsschool thank you. I hadn’t heard about this and I loved The Bill. Fingers crossed for a return.

Yes! They were going to Dubai then!

It's all bloody nonsense and soooo irritating atm! So Sonia has gone with Martin anyway although she was only going to support Whitney - ok then?!

In the scenes outside the launderette I kept waiting for everyone to start singing, as with the social distancing they all look scarily like a flash mob to me Grin

gingercat02 · 08/05/2021 12:40

Gray must be lying about Whit's passport having too short a date. She, Kush and Arthur (does he even have a passport?) Were on their way out of the country when Kush was killed. Anytime I book a flight you have to enter your valid passport details to check in. You can also go to a passport office and get it renewed while you wait (just ask DH) even in Covid times

the80sweregreat · 08/05/2021 12:42

Mr P was nice to Karen but she threw the money back in his face.
No wonder he wasn't entirely sympathetic.

I actually felt Mr P was trying to be reasonable tbh. Also, such a handsomely groomed man!
Blondeshavemorefun · 08/05/2021 13:03

mr P is rather cute

I thought Danielle’s death was unnecessarily cruel and very upsetting at the time.

From memory Bradley wanted Stacey to have the abortion and was quite nasty to her at the time which was obviously out of character.

I remember Bradley been awful to Stacey and putting pressure on her to abort the baby. Which is why he gets portrayed as St. Bradley.

Kush’s death was so contrived. Of course the CCTV cameras were conveniently vandalised earlier in the night, of course they were. And Arthur’s infinite wee, that allowed Grey enough time to get alone with Kush.

Making Grey a serial killer completely undermined the Chantelle storyline which was supposed to raise awareness of domestic abuse. He’ll inevitably go down or die (with it being Eastenders, most likely die) but if he goes down it’ll be for all 3 murders and will no longer be telling the story of domestic abuse. They were telling a story of domestic abuse and should have kept to that, and have it come to natural conclusion of Grey going to prison for what he did to Chantelle and showing how her family cope with and react to that. But now the Carter’s and Whitney will all be involved as well. Eastenders can tell whatever story they like but since they got a bloody domestic abuse charity involved it’s quite distasteful that the story is no longer about Chantelle dying due to domestic abuse, but instead about cartoon serial killer Grey casually picking off the square and getting away with it.

SoupDragon · 08/05/2021 17:52

Why did they kill him off anyway?

SoupDragon · 08/05/2021 17:54

He could have just gone to Dubai, never to be heard of again (other than in the context of characters needing a convenient location between Portugal and NZ)

Templetreeee · 08/05/2021 17:56

@SoupDragon

So that Grey is a serial killer. Im sure it will be a future story line
SoupDragon · 08/05/2021 18:08

Grey has already killed twice though and killing Kush really made no sense anyway. Not that EE makes a lot of sense anyway!

They just need to find Tina's body (there is no way she's still alive. She would have contacts someone to let them know)

Once is a mistake, twice careless, three times a serial killer Grin Bored of goggled eyed menacing Grey now

All of this. I’m still so angry about what they have done with the Chantelle story.
UhtredRagnarson · 08/05/2021 18:13

I agree there was no reason to kill kush. He was leaving anyway. Grey didn’t need to kill him. I suppose the only reason was to keep Whitney on the square.

SoupDragon · 08/05/2021 18:38

I genuinely don't understand where they're going with Grey. It is absolutely not what was spoken about when he and Chantelle did the Stacey Dooley thing.

BrutusMcDogface · 08/05/2021 19:06

That’s a good point, too, re: stupid horrible Gray and the domestic abuse storyline. SadAngry
I didn’t watch the Stacey Dooley thing, though.
