I find Bernie's new girlfriend really cute. I hope Karen finds out about this surrogate arrangement and doesn't let Bernie go through with it. Why doesn't she just give her mum some of her pest control job money? I know she tried once, but she could try again. Heart breaking for Bailey 💔

Bailey's situation is heartbreaking, such a bright girl poverty is a huge boulder in life with self confidence.
I know you shouldn't give things to strangers but I'd instantly send new shoes to anyone in that situation.
Karen is a rock even when she messed up with loan sharks and their double bubble interest.

Marlene was just on BBC Breakfast. That is her real voice. I had no idea!
The young woman working in the gay bar is an awful actress. Her constant moving around is so annoying I have to look away.
They really can’t have Bernie becoming a surrogate with no mention of the baby she lost.

It was a really big red flag for Rainie and Stuart that Bernie was so upset during their conversation last night. They should have instantly realised there was a lot more going on there than her just wanting to help them out for the money.

I wondered if that's why they keep mentioning menopause symptoms to her then she will be pregnant. Linda that is.
I want Rainie and stuart to be parents but honestly I will switch off it Bernie keeps the baby which is the way I can see it going.
Agree with others about Isaacs storyline being too quick and not liking the direction it's taking.

What makes Bernie think Karen would accept surrogacy money when she's refusing to take any of her wages for board, even when they're down to their last dented tin of beans? None of it makes any sense to me.

There’s no way Rainie will pay upfront. She’s already had the let down of tiff changing her mind. She’s never going to take the risk of paying Bernie and then her changing her mind or keeping the baby. She’ll want the baby in her hands before she pays. In the meantime Karen will have had debt collectors trashing her house for 9 months??

Agree about if she not take token rent of money towards food shop from Bernie she’s not going take baby money. Though Bernie has no outgoings so she could save herself the bother and save up £10k in the next year!

Blimey, any tradesperson around here are run off their feet! Mitch being East London based should have work coming out of his ears! He obviously hasn't tried hard enough.
Nancy is properly annoying me more than Sonia! She seems ' too cool for family ' and a bit odd as if she is going through the motions.

If Bernie tries running off with the baby 9 months on ( maybe a Christmas story there if baby is very prem ?) then I don't fancy her chances with Rainie or Stuart!
Both can have sociopathic tendencies.

Rainy is looking very well it is amazing the change of character she is getting younger looking.
Realistically they shouldn't be so poor, the loss of income and tax credits would be a problem but in RL Mitch could easily get work.

Nancy always got on ok with everyone didn’t she? I know they had concerns over her epilepsy but hardly like they are going back to being over parenting at her age and living on her own last 5plus years. Why the big secret about coming back? She’s not going afford her own flat any time soon is she?

Made me laugh! 😂 Yes, I had forgotten that he worked in the fox's salon ( what is that called ?) with Dee and co. As Kim isn't working there now, I'm sure that they could employ him? It's so easy on the square to get jobs usually as Nancy found out yesterday with Sharon's gym job. Mitch has given up. Maybe Karen should kick him out, keep Bailey and claim benefits for her ? Could she do this ? ( over invested .. )
