I thought Callum was a bit tasteless putting Ben's name on the card. He knew what Grey had said. Also looked like Ben had wrote his own name in the card which I thought was even more odd.

Considering how important Honey felt that education is ( she once tried to her dubious vet boyfriend to get him into a grammar or private school I think ?) for him to say he is doing so well in the exams and her ignoring him was out of character for her. She could have handled it a lot better.

Karen has borrowed money from a loan shark and not managed to pay them back on time. Bernie just feels guilty as her mum won't take her money and now wants to take on the role of surrogate so Karen won't have to.

Well Billy has put on a little bit of weight lately so he is a bit more ' rotund' !

Mitch works doesn't he? She has only just lost her job and hasn't many children around now, so why go down this route? It's not as if they live it up at all and couldn't she claim UC or some kind of benefits?

Karen’s sons live with their dad now so it’s possible she is paying child support to him. Bailey is the only child she could possibly claim on her UC but she was working and Mitch also lives with her, as does Bernie who is an adult so I’m not sure if she would get any UC. But tbf mitch and Bernie should be able to manage the rent and bills in the short time since Karen lost her job. It can’t have been long enough for her to run up a loan shark debt.

It's all very quick to start going up loan companies isn't it? Mitch is a plumber I believe so he can continue to work. Bernie is working for Suki. I know rent is huge in London, but she must be able to receive some help ? Housing benefit? ( I don't know anything about how it works to be fair !)
She couldn't have been earning a huge amount in the launderette.
