Grace is a detective. Written by Peter James, there are 15 books in the series I think and I have read them all.
Can’t wait to see this TV adaptation.

Oh my - that was a bit scary. I think I'll watch future episodes during the day so I don't have this adrenaline coursing through my bloodstream before I try and sleep! 😱

There are 2 things which really scare me.

1. being stuck in something like a coffin


2. attackers wearing fill face masks

Bloody Grace seems to have covered both!

But I still enjoyed it 😄

This was really good and I was gripped until the main suspect turned out out to be not even a twin but one of triplets, which was stretching the imagination a bit too far !!

I thought the story was pretty lazy writing! And it all wound up very quickly. I'm not sure why Cleo was being targeted?

The first 90 mins was good though. I like having a 2hour episode and the story wrapped up in one evening.

I guessed twins but not triplets! I thought Kit was remarkably I horrified by his wife’s hideous murder and then his girlfriend. You think he would have more interest in trying to figure out the murderer especially as he knew he was innocent and allegedly lived his wife!
Also all he seemed to care about at the end was that his wife ( and presumably his girlfriend) knew it wasn’t him. But that’s horrible, the idea that his wife wouldn’t be able to recognise her actual husband over someone that looked a bit like him but wasn’t. That is a horrifying thought, someone that looks like your husband but you know isn’t murdering you. Yikes!!
Anyway overall pretty average.

Cleo i think was targeted as grace said the killer was evil and the killer decided to "take what he loves"

I wasn't really sure about the car thieves? And did no one consider that the husbands car could have been taken from London and not driven by the husband?

watching now and only 30mins and sure I have read this book as seems so familiar

ge gets told to move hotel but wasn’t the police

wife having having semen/had sex

then later on a woman gets killed but it was her boyfriend who was killing

ending was a big fight in a posh house where she lives where he tried to kill bed

i May be totally wrong but ending I know was triplets

which is why the dna matched

will carry on watching and see if I am right

as the book goes it’s much better

and the triplet aspect shows more clever

Also in the book didn’t he go abroad as he thought he saw his wife round a lake or something

Why was cleo on the list? She wasn’t related to Kit! Her car was tampered with to kill her...who were the car thieves!! Odd story triplets ...

Bit more complicated tonight I thought and less gory.

I didn't quite get how, when Grace's house was invaded for a search and the police left his home in a state, nobody had the good manners to tell him that a warrant had been granted to search his home and garden. Apart from a brief allusion to it by him to his boss nothing seemed to gave been said before or afterwards by his boss. How odd.

Also Pugh was quick to ask Grace for help getting out of the caravan before it plummeted over the cliff and even quicker to escape the caravan without offering Grace any help. I hope Pugh breaks a leg. 🌹

Watching ep3 on replay. Very, very thin plot fgs. Halfway through. Hope it improves. Laughable so far.

I only told you to blow the bloody doors off😅

Glad that Pewe has returned to the Met, he was against Grace from the start, and opening a cold case surely takes more than just wanting to , you would need a valid reason.

No way would a caravan at that angle have stayed on top of the cliff with four of them in the 'about to topple' end !

That caravan thing was silky. The cops stood around should have been trying to weigh down one end and everyone jumping out would have altered the weight more!

They tried to cram too much into one episode I think. 🌹

Plus was I the on,y one who first thought lady in drain could have been his missing wife

Is it just me who finds this programme oddly structured? Dragging slowly through two thirds of it and then cramming an overwrought ending in as if they've just realised they're running out of time. I'm surprised John Simm has signed up for this, I hope the money's good.

Comparing 2 hours of Grace to 2 hours of Vera is like chalk and cheese.
The plot on this episode was weak and I found it dragged and was a bit boring
what are the books like?

Yes Pugh didn’t help him at all and was silly to have climbed in making 4 bodies
