Who’s looking forward to this?
Grace is a detective. Written by Peter James, there are 15 books in the series I think and I have read them all.
Can’t wait to see this TV adaptation.

Didn't realise there'd already been one of these last year, just found this thread and seen it was on last March .

I'll be watching, sounds quite good.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2022 19:20

Yes been a long wait for e2 @butterpuffed

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 24/04/2022 20:42

Enjoying so far. Surprised it started at 8 though….

User7493268965 · 24/04/2022 20:50

I'm enjoying it but surprised it's on before the watershed but the first one was as well with the burial.

Is that a very large house, even by ITV drama standards.

newnamethanks · 24/04/2022 20:50

Bloody hell. What's happened to the 9pm watershed? It's a while since I saw an ITV programme. This is a bit much for 8pm isn't it? Or am I just old and out of date?

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 24/04/2022 21:14

I know! Mary Whitehouse must be spinning a thousand revs a second.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2022 21:36

Ffs. Was going to watch behind on itv Hub as at work and they only have e1

will have to watch Tom at home

roundedbrush · 24/04/2022 21:37

I am enjoying it. It’s quite gripping but I agree with the watershed comments. A bit early at 8 pm. Is this a one off or a series?

eddiemairswife · 24/04/2022 21:37

I'm fed up with dramas set in unlit houses or during the hours of darkness;

Clawdy · 24/04/2022 22:08

I remember enjoying the first one, but this was a bit gruesome for me.

lazymum99 · 24/04/2022 22:09

Enjoyed that. Didn’t realise I’d watched the previous episode last year until I read this thread!
bit much for 8pm on a Sunday night!

gelert5619 · 25/04/2022 09:16

Ha ha

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/04/2022 14:31

Was good. Seen e2

i don’t rem what happened to graces wife. Didn’t she disappear or was she killed

e3 is on may 1 so next Sunday

butterpuffed · 25/04/2022 16:48

He mentioned about her disappearing years ago and not knowing what happened .

That was quite gruesome for starting at 8pm but a good story.

I hope I never come across a scarab beetle , scary 😮

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/04/2022 17:12

Wonder if she will ever reappear @butterpuffed

Goodoldvera · 25/04/2022 17:13

Grace's missing wife Sandy is an ongoing thread throughout the books..there are other sub plots and connections

Goodoldvera · 25/04/2022 17:25

The adaptation for TV has changed quite a lot of the characters and stories...being Brighton born and bred I'm loving the cinematography but the story lines are a little confusing and key characters are not as described in the books

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/04/2022 17:36

I loved the first one as local to me

snd was spotting places

e2 not so much

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 26/04/2022 21:15

Read all the books, watched the first now about to catch up with the second!

user1471504747 · 27/04/2022 13:06

I think the story would have worked better as multiple episodes instead of trying to fit it all in one episode.

We’re meant to believe these men trained in special forces who can do all that on the dark web and back the webcams etc etc can be found quite easily and also are terrible shooters? It was wrapped up a bit too quickly I thought.

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 27/04/2022 23:14

Agree would have probably been better as 2 x 2hrs episodes. It could have fitted a bit more in and going forwards if they make the other books in to tv episodes they are going to need more time or too much will be cut.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/05/2022 18:16

S2 e1 tonight

months on after last investigation (week for us pmsl) graces team still reeling from the fall out (getting shot and run over colleagues)

Goodoldvera · 01/05/2022 18:33
