That security guard may be in for a few more lines in Corrie because there was more than a hint of him being accused of racism. Bloody hell this second episode tonight is dire. They have a habit now of showing us a crucial scene (woman in pain/labour locked in a security office at supermarket) then jump to her hospital bed. No blaring ambulance or her being rescued from that office etc. It is really really pathetic.

God the way they shoe horn the racism into the Bailey stories every few months is so cringey! I’ve noticed this keeps happening! I find myself wondering if I’ve missed a scene somewhere.

The whole ‘locked in the office’ thing was ridiculous. Apart from the fact that it just wouldn’t happen, why did Grace look at the phone on the desk with a ‘Eureka!’ expression on her face? Had she just worked out what it was and how it could help her? And why did she call Ronnie rather than an ambulance? Surely paramedics would have got her out of the locked office more quickly than her boyfriend’s uncle.

On another topic, didn’t Tracy and Abi fall out ages ago when Abu was wrongly accused of sabotaging Michelle’s car? I’m guessing that’s all long forgotten.

Why is Ronnie's wife young enough to be his daughter? In real life, she is younger than the actor playing Michael!

It was a bit crap when she said, ‘That's no way to treat your wife’, as if we were all supposed to gasp at the big reveal. Ronnie has only been in about three episodes - we wouldn’t necessarily have known if he’d had a wife. What was the point of that?

The actress is indeed too young for the part (but very pretty).

They need remember someone has to be in it long enough for us to know their name and care a toss about them. Nobody cares he has a wife who he hasn’t been in touch with or cares about for months and months. Why is she can after him?? If your ex has gone non connect why would you chase him? Unless he has 5 kids she can’t afford to feed. She doesn’t look older enough have one nor by the looks of her figure.

On another subject, back to those stupid trying on of the wedding dresses, it was so cliched when whatsername sat down on the plate of food. Not funny at all. But hey guess what? The dress turned out to be a sample so no harm done.
You couldn't make this all up, except the writers did and whatever salary they are on they need to return it.
