Anyone watching?

I've just recently read the book and thought it was ok but then got a bit strange.

Hopefully the series will be a good watch though.

I'm on episode four really enjoying it! Haven't read the book and apparently there is a massive twist so looking forward to it...

I am looking for something to watch on Netflix. There seems to be a trend of finishing a series on a cliffhanger (Firefly Lane for eg) and it's pissing me off. I will give this a try and hope it's not the same.

I've just started watching it I'm halfway through episode one. I thought it was going to be a good watch but reviews online say otherwise, not sure if I should stick it out as I've a lot of other stuff on my list I want to watch.

I have finished as well- definitely got a bit too strange! My theory the whole time was that Rob didn't ever exist and Adele had created this persona a bit like a split personality... I was way off🤣

I thought that too. Thought it would be secret window or fight club. But no would not have guessed that. Put me right off.

I enjoyed the twist, I figured it out maybe 5 minutes before it was actually revealed! But then things made sense like the heroin addiction, and Adele’s dodgy fashion sense Grin what was with those clumpy white shoes she wore around the house? On the whole I enjoyed it, doesn’t rate in my top 10 or anything but entertaining enough.

Agree! I was enjoying the almost normality if life. Then episode 5 came along and I felt like I had wasted my time.

We could come up with better endings that are plausible.

I thought it was long, drawn out and dull and the end was just ridiculous. Lovely set and characters and acting but story was such a let down.

I’m on episode 3. Ok so far, apart from it all being a dark and dinghy and some scenes I’m struggling to see what’s happening.

I was gripped and enjoyed it. Finished yesterday and am left feeling a bit disturbed, keeps popping back into my mind.

Poor Adam! He knew something wasn't right as soon as he saw her.

I also thought for a while that Adele and Rob were the same person, but more as in split personality rather than the actual outcome. It annoyed me that it had been ticking along as a mystery and then, without warning, turned supernatural.

I hate anything super natural. I didn't realise. I thought it was a lovely psych drama but oh no. It felt such a let down.

I agree with the following description.

Not only does the novel swap genres halfway through, shifting from psychological thriller to supernatural fantasy, it swaps lead characters. Literally.
