I interpreted Mike's "stick to your knitting" comment as him referring to the old french 'hags' who knitted on the front row of public executions / guillotines ie those who love drama.

As someone that was single for like 8 years (I did lots of internet dating) the reason that some of you still are is because of the men who are left! They are mostly Dan types. Not Cam/Mick types. The genuine blokes often are with someone and aren't let go of. I must have gone on over 40 dates. People date others, compare you (like Dan was doing) etc. Its not good at all. My husband i actually found at the end of all this. Not through the Internet either. They are out there but its like looking for a needle in a haystack!

I think Mick was crying because he has wasted weeks cooped up in a hotel room alone while being gaslighted. He hates the city and was away from his animals for a long time, for no reason whatsoever.

There seems to be an underlying narrative from the ixperts as well that due to age or children the women should try harder and be more forgiving to make it work. They need to be more grateful for the opportunity. Yuck.

This. Martha is a prize cunt. She wasted 3 weeks of his life at least, if not more as she just wanted the exposure. Mick was right on honeymoon when he asked her if she was only in it for Instagram

I think Mick got upset more from the pressure of being ‘stuck’ there for four weeks and the sneakiness etc. It was the final straw and he couldn’t keep it together anymore. Probably part relief and part anger type feelings

I agree with this. He didn't care about Jess he was just frustrated at being used for weeks, when he wanted to go back to the farm.

I do think that the men on the show are much nicer than the girls.
didn't like Sam or Dan but the others are all ok compared to the girls who all seem to be flawed in one way or another.

I actually get the rage when I think about how Marfa has got away with so much and still seems to today.

I think the ixperts were wrong to let Jess and Dan stay in the ixperiement I thought the whole point of it was that the ixperts matched the couples. I makes a mockery of the whole show.

Mike was awful at the dinner party. He got personal really quickly and wouldn't let it go despite it being absolutely nothing to do with him. If I was Heidi I would be embarrassed.

I think Cam and Jules will just go along with it now because they no longer care. They both got upset after last weeks dinner party, and at this week's they were saying that the only thing they cared about was each other. They were also discussing Mark at one point and Jules was saying Jess' rumour was probably true.

I think the couples must get a bonus if they stay for the final wedding, it would explain a lot of behaviour...such as why Thumbface Deano stayed last season and why Patrick ghosted Charlene as soon as it was all over, and why Jules and Cam are still there when they could just opt out.

Plus the experts are just dishonest- saying it's an ixpirimint that they don't get involved in... They DO get involved in relationships, and try to steer the couples, when it suits them. They have really interfered to try and keep Mike and Heidi together for example. They do offer advice trying to make people change. Yet they turn a blind eye to Ines' deceit, Jess' deceit, Martha's deceit, the harmful gossip Jess told Ning .... because that's the drama . I really hope Michael soon sees Martha for who she is. She is appalling, nasty, cruel ...and it's all calculated. Jess is just outrageously self centered but Martha takes pleasure in damaging others.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s irritated far more than it should how the ixperts have turned a blind eye to all shite behaviour. None of them (Jess in particular) have been held accountable. This is in stark contrast to Davina last year, who was definitely questioned on her apparent lack of empathy.

I'm surprised Jess hasn't been questioned by the experts. Maybe they were told off for being too harsh on Davina.

Mike said to Jess that she lied about him telling her to have sex with Mick but he did say it. He took the opportunity to get that in so it looked like another lie she had told. Very sly of him!

I think Tamara is just a bit thick but clever enough to go on there and get a "glamour" career out of it.

I watched a great tv show on Amazon prime called UnREAL which is a drama about making a Bachelor type reality show. I thought it gave a lot of insight into how producers make the storylines happen.

Martha with her “you know what you signed up for”. She would absolutely be complaining herself if Michael had cheated on her. I hate that Martha has basically got away with facilitating ad encouraging Jess, as well as her down right bullying of Lizzie at the dinner party when she was clearly very fragile. She’s like a school bully.

I watched a great tv show on Amazon prime called UnREAL which is a drama about making a Bachelor type reality show. I thought it gave a lot of insight into how producers make the storylines happen.

That was a great show, bloody terrifying how they manipulate people into saying and doing awful things. It makes me sympathise a bit with the more horrible people on these shows as you know there's probably someone off camera manipulating them and egging them on when they might have just taken a moment to calm down otherwise. I find some of the things Jess says and does very strange and sudden (like attacking Ning) as it doesn't even fit in the flow of conversation.
