Agree with what you're all saying about Jess and that for once Mike wasn't wrong in things he said. Typical of Lego Head to sit quietly with his beer and then tell Jess in PRIVATE (between snogs) how bad he felt.

Martha is awful, smuggest face ever. Manbun is defo too whipped to see it unfortunately.

Sadly I agree Ning has the Ick re Mark, ain't neeeeeever gonna happen fella 🙈

@Italiangreyhound yes it was those two I was thinking of. But true it wasn't them who were cheating (although it turned out Andrews wife ran because of his behaviour and he was a right piece of work.)

Yes this! I kept waiting for him to pull Jess up on it or at least deny it, but he didn't. He had a chance to chip in when Mike brought it up but he didn't, he was practically sinking into the sofa.
I feel like things were said between him and Mick at the beginning when neither of them were getting on with Jess or Ning.

I think people who keep going on about it being scripted or manupulated should maybe remember that noones being forced to watch it.
We see edited highlights such as on big brother etc. Have you never watched television before? Im still loving it.

I bloody well hope it is semi scripted (like most reality shows) as I would hope no one would be such a nasty arsehole like Insta and marfa and the rest of them.

Yes I watch television. And I realise that things are edited beyond reason.

But who would want to look as bad as that? And if they were actually lovely, why is such awful stuff coming out of their mouths? There is no denying that they have acted horribly. And though it could be taken out of context etc, they are still quite clearly being nasty and self serving.

I have no doubt Mark bitched about Ning at the start. She gave him every reason to. But he should have just owned up and said that and I think she would have accepted it.

But maybe he feels deep down there is no chance anyway.

No we're not forced to watch it but we're allowed to say it's changing from previous series and not necessarily in a good way.

It makes me laugh how Jess and Dan 'sneak off' to somewhere that looks to be virtually round the corner from the dinner table, and completely open, and no one even gets up and follows them! IRL Tam would be there in a flash.

This isn't a spoiler but I've seen the whole series and in the reunion dinner party episode Martha massively gets her arse handed to her, I actually cheered it was so good!

On another note - this may have been discussed at the time when they first arrived on the show - was anyone else MASSIVELY creeped out by Dan's obsession with having sex with Tam on the honeymoon? She even said she basically gave in to his persistence. There was one scene where she was opening her heart about her mum dying and all he could talk about was sex, as if her grief was cock blocking him 🙄 then he has the nerve to say there's no spark.

The whole programme is getting a bit tedious now but will carry on as there's not much else on.

I used to love MAFS but its heading down hill rapidly. The poor editing and evident scripting this time round has been shocking, and no one would really put up with those mean girls behaving like they are! I thought Ines was bad but Jess and Martha are just vile. I actually ended up shouting at the TV last night! I have too much time on my hands......

As someone else quoted from Heather DuBrow (I think), you can’t edit what wasn’t said.

It may be cleverly edited but there is no shortage of hole material.

What could be an absolutely amazing programme has been effectively ruined. Yes it is watchable for the ‘drama’ and the elements of car crash telly but it isn’t married at first sight. Not as it was.

Shame that.

Just checked and there is meant to be 40 episodes and this evening will be episode number 33.
So will be finished next Friday.

I’m going to hold out and watch the last few, iv got this far so may as well see it through now.

@TeachesOfPeaches I watched the girls night out episode and did the same. I just don't care anymore and the whole sneaking around thing is deadly dull. Martha's Whitney voice gets more annoying, Jess's smirk gets more annoying, Dan's...well everything...gets more annoying
