Venus lost heavily but she was injured and apparently couldn't serve or move easily but she didn't want to retire I wonder how much longer she will continue?

I was sad to see that Venus had lost- but, as I said the other day, in my head, she had already retired. I'm glad, if she does retire this year, it will be when play is allowed- and not like last year, when a number of players disappeared without fanfare, due to the lockdown/lack of tournaments.

about Humbert.

Watching Grigor- Frew,who is obsessed with Kyrgios, has had the cheek to call Dimitrov an underachiever. I mean, he hasn't quite done what many expected- but he puts the work in, unlike some.

One good thing about not being able to watch is not having to listen to Frew

He is irritating, does very biased commentary- and his voice sends me to sleep.

I can’t stand Frew - I remember him commentating years ago and didn’t like him then! Also I don’t want to be ageist but he’s 78 - maybe time to give someone else a chance?

He just talks about the olden days (which I remember ) and yes he’s very biased and he doesn’t like Rafa!

Fizzy yup, that sums up Frew . He spends most of his time banging on about time and the shot clock when he commentates on Rafa- even when he wins the match quickly.

Djok and Kyrgios are in the same half, but they couldn't meet until the semis - I guess Thiem might get in the way of that?! Although... you never know!...

Can't believe Stan's out - I hadn't even seen him play 11-9 in the tie break as well, gutted for him! This is the problem with the AO time difference isn't it - if players don't get a night session they can be out of the tournament before you've even had a glimpse of them!!

Rafa has the night session tomorrow - I was expecting Tsitsipas-Kokkinakis to be a night match but no.
