Is that the one that was the Hisense /Melbourne arena?
They change it a lot, don't they?

John Cain Arena. I’ve never heard it called that before and I’m in Melbourne. Last year it was called Melbourne Park Arena, now recently renamed this year.

It has all fallen apart for Sinner, after a good start.

If it’s so easy to change the name of the Melbourne Park Arena why is it so difficult to change the name of the Margaret Court arena?

They should change it to Fuck Off Margaret Court Arena.

I think it changed in December and is named after a late senator? I was thinking that I didn’t recognise the name. So much easier (and less controversial) just to have centre court, court no 1 etc

Fizzy that is actually a good question- why is MC arena still so named, when they have changed the other one about 3 times in as many years (and I'm sure I read somewhere that when they re-named it the melbourne Arena, it was meant to stay that way for a number of years? )

Only giving courts numbers, or Centre, definitely makes things easier, should a name become controversial in the future.

I still think he's a gobshite but even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

No doubt Roger is brilliant and such an elegant player to watch but I'd watch Rafa scrabbling for every return over him any day. And nobody can deny how talented Novak is and can make shots that others could only hope to including Dick.

I've just noticed David Goffin has gone out. I'm sure last time I looked he was serving for the match in the fourth set!

I've been awake for ages thanks to dh staying up to all hours- but I was just score watching. Idid notice Goffin was in a bit of a battle.
I'm glad Rafa had what looks like a relatively straightforward match- I'm still concerned about the back issue though.
