Me too! I used to love it when she did ITT.

I always enjoyed Len's masterclass with her tottering on ridiculously high heels.

Wooo I dont think Rylan was needed on ITT, I have actually missed quite a few shows recently, either cos I am not feeling it or its just not as good as it was 2/3 years back.

I never used to miss ITT, now I only watch it occasionally. Zoe’s script is identical every week. “How nervous were you? How did it feel to be in the dance off? How did it feel to be saved? Etc etc

A proper ‘behind the scenes’ show could be so enjoyable, but ITT is just a series of cliches.

I prefer ITT when there’s fewer contestants and you get stuff like the pro challenge. I’m not so bothered about the contestant interviews - as a pp said they’re all the same. I watch for the choreography corner/ Waite’s warm up bits and similar.

Len and Claudia were a hoot on ITT.

Waite's warm up is good, he's very knowledgeable and a good teacher!

Bad news! Nicola and Katya have pulled out! Katya tested positive for covid. They're out of the competition. A real shame.

Oh no! I had high hopes for their American Smooth.

It would have been interesting to see how their dancing developed.

Sounds like there might be a case elsewhere in the SCD team as apparently Rylan is also isolating after coming into close contact with a confirmed case. Fingers crossed it doesn’t go through the whole cast and crew.

Clarification, Rylan’s statement says the contact he had was outside of work. He’s had a negative test result but has to isolate so is missing the next two weeks of ITT

I wonder where Katya caught it, then? I thought the pros were supposed to be living as a single person in order to ‘bubble’ with their celeb. So presumably Nicola should be the only person she’s had close contact with.

@covetingthepreciousthings problem is they will have broken their bubbles after leaving so wouldn’t be able to rejoin.

Ah, ok, thanks - I thought Katya was the ‘single’ in their partnership.

The BBC press release says ‘The pair are the first couple in Strictly history to be forced out of the competition due to illness’, but I though Jimmy Tarbuck pulled out due to a newly diagnosed heart condition.
