If I had to go for one of the female pros then it would be Oti all the way. I think she's amazingly gorgeous, and she's such a fabulous dancer that I hardly ever know how well her celeb did in a dance as I just watch Oti all the way through. I also miss Aliona, she could be a bit sulky and whiney but when she was on form her choreography was amazing and hot.

Just coming in to say Hrvy is a lovely guy met him a few times as my sister is his mangers mate 😂

Oti has the most amazing skin. I think I would be too jealous to contemplate anything. And pumping her for skin tips.

I remember an article from years ago about when Brendan first went to try dancing with Camilla (pre-Strictly of course). And it said something along the lines of "I went to Denmark for the try-out and was staying in her flat. She was in her bed and I was on the sofa. That lasted about five minutes."

Kevin was quite sweet looking when he started, with his glasses.

Katya Virshillas and Flavia are my two Strictly Pro girl crushes.

I remember seeing Katya for the first time on SCD and thinking “where do I know her from?” before realising she played “bad girl dancer” Morgan in one of my favourite cheesy films - Take The Lead. The scene where she dances a tango with Antonio Banderas is HOT!

Natalie was always my favourite. Such a beautiful ballroom dancer.

Now that she is gone it is Oti, but I love to watch Nadiya's ballroom. Karen has grown on me.

I couldn't choose a partner. I know if I went on Strictly, I'd be the fat old comedy bird, so I would get Anton. On the good side, I reckon I'd be out week one!

If we're talking dance partners, I'm too tall for Gio so I guess it'd have to be Aljaz. Or Anton, since my useless body wouldn't cope with anything too energetic.

I would opt for Aljaz and the lovely Tristan - I'd just have to pretend the tattoos were not there.

The great disappointment I feel at Monkseal no longer doing his blog I can just about bear because I can read this wonderful thread. Here is his explanation as to why he is stopping : "101. I did read this and think, he could just do a short recap, we don't need him to talk about ITT but I think he's firmly decided that's it :(

Monkseal said that he felt it wouldn’t be fair to take the piss out of Strictly this year, as things will be very different due to covid and they will be doing their best to keep things as normal as possible. While I’m disappointed as I love his recaps, I can see his point.

Hello! I've finally caught up on the show and on the threads. So pleased to have found you all for this year's instalment and so pleased it's on. It certainly does make life seem a little bit normal.

I thought they'd done a great job and just about forgive the repeated mentions of 'been tested twice'.

Love the pairings although Jackie and Anton was boringly predictable. I'm trying hard not to get irritated by Maisie's 'confidence' so we'll see how that goes.

Was anyone else screaming TURN THE BLOODY LIGHTS ON during the pro's group dances? I found the dim lighting such as shame as it was a heap of moving shadows and hard to see facial expressions never mind work out who anyone was (esp with all the new hair dos!). I know they've all been pre recorded so I'm worried they might all be like that!

Hope Janette stops that annoying gurning and prancing she used to do as the show ends each week.

I think that Jason Bell might be my current favourite...even if he is American he was very enthusiastic and eager but seemed really willing to learn. However, the numerous mentions of his daughter will become very tiresome

Max managed to get a video of his grandma in when he was announced, Jason's just making sure he isn't behind in relative wars.

Good point...they are starting early with this wonder how long it will take Jason to casually drop in about who his daughter's mum is to get some additional votes
