Honestly, if you have a son get him dancing - he’ll always be in demand!

That's how Len Goodman started. He said it was the best way to meet girls. No chance with DS. He won't do anything like that. Mind you, his cooking prowess is attracting some female attention (he's nearly 15).

I think it’s also how Anton started, if I remember correctly he got sent along with his sister to start. My dance teacher said he could have been a World Champion if he’d started at a younger age, but he didn’t turn pro till he was in his mid-30s.

Oooo that would be a good idea. I like the idea of people critiquing the final but worried it might be in bad taste in that a couple have won fair and square let's not put a downer on it.

I don't know why but Caroline Quentin really got on my nerves.

I did post on the last thread but thought thought I should introduce myself properly and say hello. Agree with PP - preferred Karen’s hair last year and already missing Monkseal’s blog.

Yes, Caroline Q got on my nerves too, I was expecting her to be more down to earth and natural.

I agree about Caroline Q. Definitely not as down to earth as I imagined.

Also agree about Caroline - I thought she'd be very relatable (more like Ruth Langsford was) but she was very luvvie-ish and seemed like she'll be quite hard work and not take criticism well.

I just wonder if Caroline was a bit glitter happy and over excited....always love her other stuff, so I shall reserve judgement. Took me ages to figure out which of the boys had gone blond! Think the group pro dances are going to be very polished though, given they really cracked on with them doing them in two weeks and aren't trying to wedge them in after training all week and being knackered from training.

Oh dear, Bill is being framed as a “ringer”. Two whole ballroom lessons 40 years ago!

Why concerned? They have to live separately as they have formed new bubbles with their partners. They have not split up!!

Saw the front page of one of tomorrow’s tabloids which seemed to imply Bill was a ringer seems from @CaveMum post it’s a bit of an exaggeration!
