@Sarcobaleno I might be wrong but when they showed the first set of future flash forwards (when they visit dying rebecca at Kevin’s house) I assumed Kate had died as she wasn’t there?

@Sarcobaleno there has been a lot of speculation about this with lots of people thinking that Kate has died. Personally I’m not so sure. When Randall calls Toby in that scene, he says something like “I spoke to Jack and they’re on their way”. Jack will be a teenager tops at that point so think he and Hailey will have to be with an adult and I assume that’s Kate. But only a theory!

New episode (s5 11) is up. It’s a really lovely one 🥰

That really was a beautiful episode, Uncle Nicky is my favourite character so I loved seeing more of his story.

Yes tbtf he was wearing a wedding ring when he was sitting at Rebecca’s bedside in the flash forward in the cabin.

I actually find the whole premise of them ‘replacing’ him with Randall quite disturbing - possibly I’m over sensitive to it having been through baby loss.
Me too - we are adopters after losing babies, and it's just bizarre TBH, though it was the 80s.

Loved this week’s episode. Love the nod to Sophie and also the Doc from virgin river is Rebecca’s Dad (which I didn’t notice before)

Miguel is so nice, patience of a saint. Jack is just so controlling. Seems like Rebecca went from living with her"big man" dad to "big man" Jack.

Gonna go against the grain and say didn't really like that episode. Mostly because of the way Tess behaved towards Beth. Very emotionless manipulative IMO and I fear the writers feel we should be siding with Tess as a victim of bigotry when in fact Beth has been nothing but utterly accepting and supportive.

I agree with you, I dont like their couple and dont think they'll end up married and if married together for long. I always loved Sophie... and then she joined virgin river, but I guess as she's not main character she can still appear in a few episodes... I hope that's the case!

I liked it a lot to begin with but I'm over it now. I think they've carried it on too long...formulaic, banal and predictable. The scene with Kate, 'nasty' music teacher and wee girl singing was cringe...

I sided with Beth on this one. No-one’s perfect and we do all have certain dreams for our kids. I’m sure she’ll accept Tess’s choices in the end like we all do. I think Tess was being very unfair to say ‘you don’t try e Deja...’ as all Beth meant was she’ll try to understand. She can support without truly understanding.

Kate us a very annoying adult @Tillytess - I’m not sure what her job is supposed to be if the guy was doing the playing & attempting the teaching.

Anyone think it’s very very clever that viewers are not meant to see madison and Kevin is more a platonic relationship, one of convenience, than actually a great love affair.
