Old thread full, so here we go again.

Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

Just today my docs surgery was in the local news saying patients were becoming really nasty and swearing down the phone at the reception staff so I can well imagine this is realistic. Leanne is also playing a frustrated, upset mother who refuses to believe nothing more can be done to save her son. Just a shame it’s Leanne playing the mother

I know there are probably people shouting at NHS staff but seeing it on Corrie, to me, sort of green lights it, like it's OK. I don't think it's right at the moment really.

I think that’s awful taste, as it happens.

The storylines are too protracted these days. It wd be better if more different plots took place and dont run on so long.

What's he got in that bag? What does he do all week? He's always hanging around the street, where exactly is his parish? We saw him working on his sermon the other day, but surely that doesn't take a week! I know he gets the odd phone call "ah, poor Mrs so-and-so, I need to pop round", but he never travels very far. No meetings with The Bishop anymore!

He even had it with him when they were waiting for Todd to show up for the money.

My local vicar is on every local committee going, and is chair of governors at a local school, and on all sorts of diocesan boards. He runs two fairly big local charities, is on a council liaison committee re homelessness, and mentors trainee vicars. He presides over multiple regular services throughout the week, plus weddings, funerals and christenings. The funerals are divided between church, cemeteries and crem, over a wide radius.

He does not own a Billy bag.

That sounds more like an actual vicar. Billy doesn't even seem to have morning/ evening prayer!

Well I think it’s fair to say none of us were expecting that reaction from Leanne.

Is it realistic? I really don’t think a woman who is preparing to lose her son would invite the newly discovered child of her partner into the hospital just to meet him.

I wouldn't let Leanne anywhere near Sam at the moment

Does natasha not work? Or have a life? She seems to be available to turn up as and when nick or Leanne require her.

What's with Gail missing the reception? The Shona line is definitely weak.
