Old thread full, so here we go again.

Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

Billy is lucky he didn't have a head injury like Shona. I had forgotten the Susan aspect, Peter should tell the bishop.

Roussette · 19/10/2020 19:34

Oh nooooooooooooo!

The quads are back

excelledyourself · 19/10/2020 19:37

Eileen screeching on Todd the very second Mary shut the door. She'd have totally heard that. Confused

Roussette · 19/10/2020 19:43

Mary had barely shut the door!

Roussette · 19/10/2020 19:47

Grin I thought it was going to be take a drink every time Todd does a comedy gulp.

thenightsky · 19/10/2020 20:06

I’m amazed that we haven’t seen seen Gemma, they could have shown her vlogging and doing those virtual playgroups how it helped other mums during lockdown

Oh no... you had to go and mention the shouty gobby one Shock

nildesparandum · 19/10/2020 20:15

Just watched this to get a few laughs.Got plenty tonight.
Billy and Mary.David, Shona, and the mental health worker.
Gary and Maria in Roy's cafe, have they not got a kitchen in their house?
It ceased being funny when shouty load mouth Gemma appeared.I have not missed her.
Can it get any worse?

lollipoprainbow · 19/10/2020 20:17

I now find myself playing spot Billy's bag !! There it was tonight lurking on eileens sofa !!

lollipoprainbow · 19/10/2020 20:18

@excelledyourself my thoughts exactly !

JamieLeeCurtains · 19/10/2020 20:23

Oh. My. God.

yourhairiswinterfire · 19/10/2020 20:35

Leanne- "Who's called Wendy these days?"

Erm... Confused Who the hell is writing this??

JamieLeeCurtains · 19/10/2020 20:42

And it's getting even more aciiiiiid by the minute.

I'm not loving the drama, Mick.

eggandonion · 19/10/2020 20:47

I'm in Ireland, we are going to total lockdown, announcement at nine. I think the government are letting us enjoy Corrie first.

Back to March-style lockdown??
Smallsteps88 · 19/10/2020 20:55

This is beyond bonkers. Eileen putting big bad mick back in his box just like that? Hmm

JamieLeeCurtains · 19/10/2020 20:57

I think 'enjoying' Corrie is a very creative way of describing my pissed-offness at the bizarre 'we can all get jobs if we just try' scene with Gemma, Chesney and Dixie.

Good luck, egg.

EggsFried · 19/10/2020 20:59

Absolutely ridiculous. As if Eileen would invite gangster Mick into her house when he was pointing a gun at her last time he was there. The way she said "This needs sorting, both of you, inside" was like they were kids who'd had a fight in the playground. And there's no way her talking to him would have got him to let Todd off the hook when he was trying to kill him in the last episode.

PhoebeSnow · 19/10/2020 21:45

I have decided not to watch any more and just read the thread here instead. I would be embarrassed to be acting in Corrie now, except for Geoff and Yasmin I don’t care about any of them.

eggandonion · 19/10/2020 22:19

Full lockdown, until 1 December.
So I can't have strange gunmen, vicars with bags, vicar boyfriends, prodigal son in my house for six weeks.
I need to keep watching corrie with its cast of thousands to keep me sane.

Honeyroar · 19/10/2020 22:30

I laughed when Paul said he’d recognised Tod from Summer’s photos. He’s about the only one that has!

Well done Eileen in sending Mick back to his boyfriend and no hard feelings! Wish she’d done it a fortnight ago! And left Tod in the attic without a ladder!
