Old thread full, so here we go again.

Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

Oh wow!

That is fantastic. I am so delighted to hear that Geoff is turning this storyline into something so positive.
This is when Corrie does excellent stuff and it helps others.

TanteRose · 16/10/2020 11:49

Roussette it's a beautiful moving song, written and performed by Ian.
The video is directed by his wife, Loveday. It's really very good Smile

Roussette · 16/10/2020 11:49

I'll go and hunt it out!

TanteRose · 16/10/2020 11:51

That is so powerful. Especially the statistics at the end.

Well done him.

excelledyourself · 16/10/2020 12:10

That brought a tear to my eye.

The child actor (I'm assuming) has the surname Bartholomew too.

TheRogueApostrophe · 16/10/2020 12:38

The song and the video are brilliant. And it's so good that it focuses on violence against women without a nod to the "what about men" brigade.

TanteRose · 16/10/2020 13:10

Statistics at the end of that video:

In the UK over 1.6 million women and children experience domestic abuse every year

The police receive more than 100 calls an hour relating to incidents of domestic violence.

On average, one woman is killed every four days by a current or former partner.

During the first two weeks of lockdown, this more than doubled.

Deadringer · 16/10/2020 16:08

That is very moving. My God those statistics are horrifying. Sad

TheRogueApostrophe · 16/10/2020 16:43

Aren't they just? They never get better.

eggandonion · 16/10/2020 18:58

Somehow he is nastier than Phelan, because he's in a home, and in a head. It must be a difficult role.

Roussette · 16/10/2020 19:23

But how great he's done something with that storyline that matters.

What fresh horror is going to confront us tonight, home from a socially distanced drink to tune in!

thenightsky · 16/10/2020 19:48

I see Jason's scar has completely healed.

JamieLeeCurtains · 16/10/2020 19:49

Todd gulped again. That's his repertoire.

Honeyroar · 16/10/2020 19:51

Gangster man looks like Sean Ryder’s skinny brother.

excelledyourself · 16/10/2020 19:52

Major sound effects with the gulp this time too. Rewound it and made myself feel quite ill Envy

Honeyroar · 16/10/2020 19:52

Think he’s from Chumbawumba. He gets knocked down but he gets up again.

Roussette · 16/10/2020 20:01

What the four and a half is going on

I've been drinking Wine so this makes no sense

Male model with a man bun has it shaved off by Shona?!

Roussette · 16/10/2020 20:03

Craigy!

Honeyroar · 16/10/2020 20:03

Just a stupid storyline- someone from Chelsea seems to have appeared in Corrie wanting a haircut. You need a drink to watch this!

Roussette · 16/10/2020 20:05

This is hilarious.

Roussette · 16/10/2020 20:06

honeyroar good job I'm pissed have taken a thimble full of wine

Smallsteps88 · 16/10/2020 20:07

@Honeyroar

Think he’s from Chumbawumba. He gets knocked down but he gets up again.
Grin

Brilliant!

He reminds me of someone but I can’t think who.

Roussette · 16/10/2020 20:10

Amazing that Craigy is not only a policeman but a detective too!

BreconBeBuggered · 16/10/2020 20:15

They're not looking very hard for Todd, are they? No sooner are they out the door than he's halfway down the stairs. They must be able to hear him gulping behind them as the door closes.
