Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

I was watching This Life the other night (bbc repeated it a few months ago and I’ve only got round to it now) and Arthur popped up as Egg’s dad and was shagging Anna! I’d forgotten that.

Every time I ask who the actor is, dh tells me he is Eggs dad, then I forget. When is this life on, I saw some last year. They were miserable lot!

Dh was a big fan of Anna in This Life. I hope they let Daddy Egg and Evelyn have a good storyline.

I thought proper actor man who is Evelyn's love interest must have a wife dying slowly in hospital? I think Shona needs to keep away from the sinkhole. I love the brisk business in hotpots in the Rovers. Perhaps three episodes a week would be ample.

I bet that'll be the next story line! Shona goes missing and it turns out she's fallen down the bloody sink hole! Wouldn't surprise me the way the story lines are at the moment!

Re Nina and her clothes while serving food

I mentioned thsloads of times on here, including pre Nina.In real life that cafe would have been closed down on health and hygiene reasons.Roy always wears that old cardigan and greasy looking pinny with his hair uncovered and hanging in his face while serving food.Now Nina has joined in with her same silly apron and hair hanging round her face, and those things she has on her hands.
I would not eat anything in there. Surprised the whole street has not got food poisoning as they all seem to eat in there.

Corrie really is rubbish at the moment with poundshop gangsters like Gary and this new one who is a terrible actor, seriously this is just like a Carry On film with no laughs. . Frankly do the writers on Corrie and Eastenders think that their gangster characters are Ronnie Kray?

Nurse Crane and a man from her Soanish class. Then she found out he was married but she had dementia (?) And didn't really know who he was :(

Wasn't it Eileen and that trouser smell bloke who's name I cannot recall? His wife was in a nursing home with dementia wasn't she?

Yes was going to say Eileen’s fireman had the wife dying and then did she kill herself with the toaster?

Jane in Eastenders as well had a dying husband when she met Ian but I think Ian knew about him

When Ian first met Jane, I don't think he knew she had a terminally ill husband.
