Looking a lot better for Garbine now.

Thanks heavens we got to see the goddess that is Garbine. I really dislike her American opponent, she is one of those “don’t need to be liked I’m only here to win” types.
Might be more authentic if she’d actually won anything!

I’m with everyone hating all the grey on Chatrier. I’ve been to RG several times and it always took my breath away, walking onto Chatrier and the glorious contrast between green and terracotta... so beautiful.

Now it just looks like a bigger Madrid Magic Box aka the cheese grater.

Djoker has such luck with draws, total cakewalk.

What happened to Garbine?3-0 up in the final set, with a point for 4-0, and her game drops off a cliff.
She looked fatigued to me, and was puffing a bit. If I were her I would be fed up at playing so late, but it’s not an excuse.

I am so disappointed that Garbine lost.

Starks- the change in seat colour on Chatrier just ruined the look of it- I mean, Orange and Green, those are RG colours. The bland beige is just...bland (I know in normal times the place would be full and you wouldn't see the seats but still).

I really don't like how 'boxy' it all is now.

I am looking forward to today- but the schedule means I will most likely miss Rafa, which is disappointing.

The pick of the day could be Zverev/Sinner. Sinner has been playing really well recently, and this is a tournament of upsets. Sascha has also been on a good run of form- but is always vulnerable.

(It will probably turn into a 3 set white wash now I've said that) .

Sinner has been good though, he's not dropped a set so far.

Ah that is disappointing about Muguruza. Starks did you see Danielle Collins the other day - her opponent (can't remember who it was now) served underarm and she (DC) got the return back and won the point - she celebrated like she had just won the tournament I thought it was quite funny actually because it must be so frustrating to receive an underarm serve!

Looking forward to watching Rafa - wonder how long it will take for Rafa the cat to be mentioned
