Ahh, now- Sam just called Sofia, Sonya- which last year, when she beat Serena and first really 'appeared' everyone did. There were a few discussions about it. It was her nickname. Her name is Sofia Anna. Now, she is always Sofia. I wonder what changed?

I'm so tired today and the house has gone to pot. I'm fed up of the kitchen being a lecture hall and so is DS1. He's missing human interaction.

Jane it's rubbis, isn't it? In theory, DD2 should have been doing stuff today. I've written the rest of this term off. She is not well enough to do anything, and I'm sick of homework that basically requires far too miuch input from me.

I just switched the tennis on for a few minutes - poor Fabrice must think he’s back at school when he’s with Jim - Jim is always asking him to compare and contrast players and talk about their strengths and weaknesses etc etc.

Yes, Rublev has been wearing the Agassi Collection - all of it, I think. He's worn the pink version of the top too. Though I'm not sure I've seen him in the luminous yellow shorts, favoured by Khachanov.

I am hoping Agassi is not invited back by Nike next year. .

Since this is in the early stages, I might walk the dog. He is looking at me.

Last night he asked Fabrice to think of some French expressions he could teach him. Poor Fabrice, I hope he's getting good money for this.

I can just imagine Jim wandering around RG looking for people to have one of his interesting chats with and people legging it around corners when they see him coming.

Perhaps he and the butterfly fancier could sod off into the sunset together, wittering on to each other as they go. Although neither would be listening to the other because they'd be too busy listening to themselves
But it would do the rest of us a favour
