I think that umpire has had a few run-ins in other tournaments.

I really think it is mainly the commentators (and those who have a beef with certain players) who are so obsessed with the shot clock. Frew is obsessed with the shot clock. Guess who he is not a fan of. I don't actually think fans in the stands watching, are that bothered by a couple of extra seconds to re-group between points.

Jane it's funny how you get to recognise certain ones. There is another female umpire who I cannot stand at all. She seems to go out of her way to be an utter jobsworth- when it suits.

It's a shame this match has gone like this- they were singing Siegemund's praises to start with - until the time violation/injury time out. You get the feeling Anne is quite frustrated with her.

Switched on to see Siegemund apparently having a nice lie down. Glad she's up and running again.
