I've hardly been able to watch any tennis the last few days. I finally managed to tune in today, literally just as Jim was launching into his woodpecker analogy

We are ok. I am going to feel better on Friday I think when it is actually happening. I hate the waiting. Just want the surgery over, so we can move on to the next bit.

The hospital have just rung, coincidentally. I panicked when I saw the number- I thought they were ringing to cancel. Or tell us her test from yesterday was positive.

It was yet other bunch of questions. Mostly covid related.

I'm a bit worried- she has a wobbly tooth. The dentist offered to remove it, if needed, but the surgeon said to just mention it to the anaesthetist on Friday. I don't want her swallowing it, whilst 'under'. I hope it comes out before then!

This match is not as close as I thought it might be. I mean, I didn't expect a Thiem/Schwartzman epic , but then Rublev has had some tough matches.

Can Stef beat Djok (assuming PCB doesn't?). They are 3-3 in their hth. Djok has won their only meeting on clay, in Madrid last year.

Cynical me thinks that if PCB gets to serve for the first set Djokovic will have the trainer out , may lose it , but then recover to win three sets to 1
