I am debating whether I should really be sitting here watching it, feel like I'm being rather complicit...

yep watching, and already seething

Love the sling lady

themothership · 09/10/2007 21:20

Me too. (At both the seething and loving the sling lady).

Can't believe that CV compared bf in public to pulling your pants down in a restaurant.

I've got it on. Not to watch the obviously edited bits with the families but to watch the 'gurus' slag each others methods off. How CV keeps a straight face when spouting such rubbish is fascinating.

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:22

hehehe CV parents have broken rules woo hoo

CristinaTheAstonishing · 09/10/2007 21:22

What channel is it on, please?

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:22

channel 4

MerlinsBeard · 09/10/2007 21:23

yessssss they broke the rules-HA

themothership · 09/10/2007 21:23

One of the things that interests me in all of this, is that whilst they consulted paedeatricians, HVs etc., they didn't consult child psychologists / psychotherapists and haven't at any point referenced checks on emotional and mental health of the babies.

oh just you wait...

CristinaTheAstonishing · 09/10/2007 21:24

Thanks, Lisa. I'll try and catch some of it as soon as DH finishes watching some old Dr Who episode or other.

AufishFeQueen · 09/10/2007 21:24

CV needs a good kick up the backside! Giving the babies less to eat at such a young age! Grrr!

Pelvicfloorlotsofgore · 09/10/2007 21:24
Angry
CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:25

Don't forget there's always channel 4 + 1 these days if you miss it.

TheOldestCat · 09/10/2007 21:25

"I feel like they're going hungry just so me and Colin can have some extra time on our own'.

Yes, dear, that's exactly what you're doing.

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:25

bloodly hell, she is evil. Making a baby go hungry!! stupid woman, "come bath time they will be staving" and she thinks thats good!!

And now wakes them up early!! GRRR

themothership · 09/10/2007 21:25

oh god, it's already getting too distressing to watch

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:25

Oh yes, let's make them overtired and starving, cause that will help .

PeckaRolloverAgain · 09/10/2007 21:25

crying big real tears here

Pelvicfloorlotsofgore · 09/10/2007 21:26

The woman is bloody nasty

tcmummy · 09/10/2007 21:26

Watching. Here we go again....

AitchyBabesHugz2AllUHunnis · 09/10/2007 21:26

what is this with the twisting of the bottles? i ffed dd and never had to do that...

BlueberryPancake · 09/10/2007 21:26

Here too. Aren't the twins absolutly gorgeous? Poor things, I can't believe what they are doing to them. Starving them, depriving them from sleep, I'm sure that would be considered torture under some EU regulation(only kidding, but only just)

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 21:26

Not only is she starving them with volume of milk, i question the quality......the formula wasn;t even made up properly. The mum didn't even put in a full scoop, it was only 3/4 full.

This is just so so sad .

No they're not crying, they are too tired to do anything.

I cannot believe the parents are actually laughing

mollymawk · 09/10/2007 21:26

I'm not actually watching this (I saw the first one and found it all a bit too painful so didn't want to watch any more).
However, I was talking to my mother about it the other day, and she said "Ah yes, of course you were all brought up with the Mr Spock method".
That would explain my pointy ears then...

wheresthehamster · 09/10/2007 21:26

Why do they keep twisting the bottles while the babies are feeding? It's annoying me.
