I am debating whether I should really be sitting here watching it, feel like I'm being rather complicit...

tcmummy · 09/10/2007 21:38

MerlinsBeard · 09/10/2007 21:38

hooray for that man!!

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:38

those twins are lovely, want to take them home with me and love them and do all the things CV says not to

tcmummy · 09/10/2007 21:38

Spot on Tamum.

wheresthehamster · 09/10/2007 21:39

Why do they have to make a song and dance about public breastfeeding? Most normal mothers don't flop it out on the table for all to see. I'm surprised at the Spock woman.

katybumpinthenight · 09/10/2007 21:40

the twins dad is lovely !

funnypeculiar · 09/10/2007 21:40

I'm AMAZED that spock woman is anit public bf. And that the pg is presenting it as an issue for many people. Really? Doesn't the mn poll suggest very few of us have ever had grief for public bf?

covenhope · 09/10/2007 21:40

The crying is upsetting DD.

My 16 yo DS has just shouted at the TV "of course they should breastfeed in public!"

choolie · 09/10/2007 21:40

ha ha lisad123 twisting your nipples to get baby to BF more! My DS wakes 3 times a night on average to feed still, wonder how many of us will be trying that tonight?!!

SleepIsForTheWeak · 09/10/2007 21:40

what is that abou shagging in the kitchen? eh???

TheDuchess · 09/10/2007 21:41

Maybe we should all get together and expose our norks at CV

AitchyBabesHugz2AllUHunnis · 09/10/2007 21:41

what about just saying 'it's your kid, do half the work', dreena?

MsHighwater · 09/10/2007 21:41

Of course, Dreena Hamilton's unfortunate misconception about public breastfeeding should not reflect on the Spock method as a whole.

gingerninja · 09/10/2007 21:41

The twins dad is lovely?

MerlinsBeard · 09/10/2007 21:41

is dreena the spock advisor?

FrankAwenstein · 09/10/2007 21:42

so when this little one arrives should i get peep hole ann summers bras cos want to make sure i am looking all sexy what a load of shit. All the mum is thinking about when feeding baby is making sure that baby is ok, having a feed/latched on ok and that milk isnt squirting into anyones tea .. last thing going through mind is how sexy boobs might be.

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:42

im very surprised about spock woman being so against BF.

FrankAwenstein · 09/10/2007 21:42

covenhope - good for your ds

MsHighwater · 09/10/2007 21:42

I just love seeing that Dad carrying his son in a sling.

themothership · 09/10/2007 21:43

Based on last week's programme, the twin's dad is totally complicit with CV in denying the twin's mum her NATURAL instincts to meet her babies needs...

OP posts:
MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 09/10/2007 21:43

I think the twins dad is actively enjoying imposing the rigidity of the routines. Twunt.

morningpaper · 09/10/2007 21:43

I'm having chest pains

Tamum · 09/10/2007 21:44

Did Dr Spock advocate breastfeeding in private does anyone know?

That's great, covenhope

FrankAwenstein · 09/10/2007 21:44

twins dad is a contrl freak imo.

Isnt the not bothering to cry shutdown syndrome?? Reminds me of the NSPCC advert
