I am debating whether I should really be sitting here watching it, feel like I'm being rather complicit...

of course its thinking of the baby to feed in public! why else would you be getting your boobs out?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:50

Would you want that woman as your childminder after seeing the way that she cares for her own child?!

themothership · 09/10/2007 21:50

I really hate the way that sleeping through the night has become the holy grail of parenting. At all costs it seems

TheOldestCat · 09/10/2007 21:51

Oh poor little Mia.

MerlinsBeard · 09/10/2007 21:51

force feeding teh children

MIL fostered a biy with a feeding tube because he refused to fed AT ALL after he was force fed as a baby

covenhope · 09/10/2007 21:51

Why is that woman so desperate to go back to work- as a childminder - 5 weeks after giving birth?!

AitchyBabesHugz2AllUHunnis · 09/10/2007 21:51

that child was being sick.

FrankAwenstein · 09/10/2007 21:51

fecking force feeding!

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:51

bloody hell, surprised that little girl wasnt sick!!

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 09/10/2007 21:51

OH MY GOD

I spoke to soon. There is stuffing and then there is abuse.

TheOldestCat · 09/10/2007 21:52

Head exploding.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:52
Angry
97PercentGingerbread · 09/10/2007 21:52

That's where I've been going wrong. I didn't realise my baby was just like a car.

Dammit.

Mental note to self: buy Haynes manual tomorrow.

AitchyBabesHugz2AllUHunnis · 09/10/2007 21:52

that beca is very impressive i think.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:53

(there is a Haynes manual for babies available as a dad's book on childcare)

AitchyBabesHugz2AllUHunnis · 09/10/2007 21:53

(you know, i have a funny feeling that force feeding sequence was longer in the copy i saw...)

MerlinsBeard · 09/10/2007 21:55

i have heard of the topping up at night thing before

Tamum · 09/10/2007 21:55

Formula that takes longer to digest necessarily leads to sleeping longer? Give me a break, this is the most biased uncritical commentary ever.

hertsnessex · 09/10/2007 21:56

the dr spock woman - she has got hungrier baby milk all wrong (and im not a advocate of ff) but my god - its not more calories, its the different make up of the formula - its not more calories. FFS at least get your facts straight.

lisad123 · 09/10/2007 21:56

where are the health visitors during all of this? where are the friends and family with "good" advice

choolie · 09/10/2007 21:56

omg, baby cameron is gorgeous, he looks so content - and that's the most important judge surely???

hertsnessex · 09/10/2007 21:57

i HATE CV. i am all for empowering the new mum what ever she wants to do - but most mums would not want to do CV's routine.

MerlinsBeard · 09/10/2007 21:57

after several nights Mia no longer cries....its like the nspcc ad..miles is a quiet baby...
