I wondered if the grandmother had an inkling that Denise was Raymond's birth mother. I immediately thought of Bex/Martin/Sonia when they started this. I assume they aren't going to go down the exact same storyline again. Maybe the dad isn't dead, just disabled in some way and Denise will meet him, fall in love and nurse him (this is EE after all!)

Denise wasn't wearing a mask because they aren't "doing" masks. Other than commenting on the profiteering from the minute mart ones.

Mica Paris is 51 (the same age as Dee) so she's technically not too young. Someone would have had to have had a child as a young teen though :) For Eastenders it's completely likely 😂 Kathy and Ian Beale are far less believable.

If Raymond is her grandchild and he is 3 then she was 48 when he was born so no teenage parents required for that math.

It’s too much going on at once. The stories can’t hold viewers’ attention because they’re chopping and changing all the time.

I commented without. Watching. The 13 year old wasn't "mica's". Bio grandchild but seeing the newspaper article Denise was reading said the dad was 35 so mica could have had him at 16.

I still don’t understand this talk of Max’s money. Have they clarified what exactly Ian has done with it? My understanding was that no money was handed over, just the restaurant ownership was signed over to Ian. Then Ian used that to secure a mortgage for the pub. A few weeks ago Ian was frantically trying to get himself onto some board position because he needed money. I don’t know why he needed money. Is it because the pub wasn’t earning money and he couldn’t pay the mortgage? I understand that bit but I don’t know what money he took from max.

I honestly have no idea I think max is just wanting his share back because there is no actual money although ian did buy the pub with it. I wonder how long it will take to click ah pub is also mine !
