Adoption doesn’t work like that. Also- Raymond has a grandmother, and possibly other family we don’t know about. It shouldn’t even be an option for him to go back to the person who gave him up 3 years ago. Tbh- denise wouldn’t even have been allowed in the hospital to see him under current circumstances. It’s a ridiculous story already and it’s only 10 minutes old.

That was my thinking, in real life he would stay with grandparents/other family but it certainly looks like they might go down the giving him back route (and yes they did do that with Sonia/Martin/Bex)

The Bex story was different because her dead adoptive parents had no other family. Reverse adoptions do happen but maybe in real life Bex would have been more likely to be fostered or gone to a care home?

I noticed that. But what terrible acting imho. She wasn't even remotely upset that her granddaughter and dil had just been killed 😯And as if she would let a random stranger she's never seen before go in to see her injured grandson unaccompanied and without even asking who she is/what her name is 🙄 It's all so absurd.
