Wow. Fridays night and the death And murder of Chantelle 😢😢

That was moving and horrendous to watch while gray plans his alibi of her death With

In some ways she will silly to taunt him. And she should have left a message on Khareet phone instead of ringing it lots when went to ansa machine

She should have said she was leaving gray. She loved Khareet and last message was a ploy As gray found out

Then gray will be done for murder

All the other plot lines form previous thread have been sorted

Nice to have ee back after the break

Who’s going to watch tonight? I don’t think I can cope with any crying or screaming. Really not in the mood

Smallsteps88 · 21/09/2020 19:20

@Blondeshavemorefun

Thanks *@Smallsteps88*

Well if max didn’t sign anything then surely Ian will tellhim bollocks

hes shit scared of Max though. And rightfully so- he tried to kill him once before in a hilarious scene in Ian’s house. One of my favourite episodes of eastenders Grin
Smallsteps88 · 21/09/2020 20:07

Oh thank god! They’re treating it as a crime scene!

nancy75 · 21/09/2020 20:10

If someone kept transferring money out of your account wouldn’t you move the money & close the account? Ruby can’t be that stupid!

nancy75 · 21/09/2020 20:10

Good to see Gray is being questioned at least

Smallsteps88 · 21/09/2020 20:12

No one can hug Karen! Sad

Smallsteps88 · 21/09/2020 20:14

It’s Stacey!!

PinkDaydreams · 21/09/2020 20:16

What's Stacey playing at??!!

The filming of Karen arriving back in the square sent a chill up me, very well filmed, it's heart breaking though :(

nancy75 · 21/09/2020 20:19

Doesn’t Stacey ever see Arthur?

iknowimcoming · 21/09/2020 20:56

I found it quite odd actually was expecting to be blown away by Karen's sadness but it was minimal, good to see Mitch is on to the keerat thing hopefully he'll get to the truth

lazymum99 · 21/09/2020 21:01

The story of Ruby’s bank account is Completely ridiculous. Once you’d informed the bank they would advise closing the account and moving the money.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 21/09/2020 21:01

Yes it just feels weird that no one is hugging each other.

Stacey is such a wanker.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 21/09/2020 22:05

Very disappointed with tonight’s episode- the emotional was minimal and quite frankly left me cold.

eatsleepread · 21/09/2020 22:46

Nooooo, not bloody Stacey. I would hate for that miserable cow to return. Martin was always much too good for her. Enough said that the only time she's had a smile on her face is when she's swindling someone else.
And why the need for revenge on Ruby exactly? Confused Stacey was the one who left Martin!

Smallsteps88 · 21/09/2020 22:53

Agree. I didn’t realise how her screechy voice grated on me until I saw her again this evening. She’s a horrible person. Her and Kat both need to go.

I’m not impressed with tonight’s episode either. Why did they have all the Stacey/ruby and Ben/Callum stuff? Why wasn’t it just all about the aftermath of a woman in the square being murdered? That’s a massive thing to happen.

queenjaneappro · 21/09/2020 23:14

@Smallsteps88 I agree, I was surprised at all the other storylines going on.

Akire · 21/09/2020 23:18

They always do that. When someone dies or something really moving and they keep flicking back to stupid scenes over someone buying tea bags.

Decided to watch but needed have worried about any emotion spilling over. Surely the first thing they would have asked is who can look after the children. Why wouldn’t he say their grandparents? Not someone we know who I’m helping with her murder trail. Not a single resident even Denise who knows her and the family would have text to say anything?? Or Mik or Billy?

Chienloup · 22/09/2020 00:37

Aww, I like Stacey! Her and Max are my ultimate 'Stenders couple. I still live in hope they will properly get together one day.

I wanted to ask about Bailey - Have I missed something? Why wasn't she in Southend? Where is she? Mitch said he was going to Streatham to talk to her, but why is she in Streatham? I thought Mitch and the kids were her only family?

Emeraldshamrock · 22/09/2020 07:29

I didn't bother watching last nights yet. I knew they'd skirt over it.

PinkDaydreams · 22/09/2020 07:32

I found the bit at the beginning with Karen
a very emotional, then the rest of the episode was very strange, like nothing had happened!

I agree about max and Stacey, I think they should run off together!

Fiddlersgreen · 22/09/2020 07:49

I think they said Bailey was staying with an aunt or someone? I don’t know why

SpanishFly · 22/09/2020 08:06

I guess it's difficult for the writers especially just now, when they're having to rewrite scenes to allow for social distancing etc. Also, they have to be careful with the timeslot as to how harrowing it can be, so u guess they're limited. In saying that, Karen probably wouldn't even have enough energy to phone the police station re Gray, far less shout at them that he needs to be home for his kids. Also, the fact that she said "are you going to charge him or something?" then made it really odd that she ran to hug him rather than reacting more like Mitch, with a healthy dose of suspicion.

The Ruby story is ludicrous. You inform the bank of fraudulent activity, and they then stop it happening again and refund the money. They don't allow it to keep happening to the tune of 40K and say "sorry, you must have authorised this". And surely they'd have details as to who/where it went??!! It's utterly ridiculous.

Smallsteps88 · 22/09/2020 08:21

I wonder who they had hugging Karen when she was hugging gray. Maybe they got her RL partner in for that bit. Gray seemed to be hugging a mannequin in a denim jacket Grin

Akire · 22/09/2020 08:30

I could understand her hugging him if she had the call about an accident and arrived and he was there. But if you turn up and police everywhere and he’s obviously been arrested surely your first thought would be what the hell happened here. Rather than some sort accident. Heart attack etc would not have involved the police.
